'Conda needs a hull mass increase, badly.
I'm not spiteful against Anaconda drivers, but it would be a good thing for future ship balance. It's very hard for new ships to really shine (while avoiding creep) when a few ships are so unreasonably powerful, flexible, and simply out-of-sync with the vast majority of ships. Best of all, by increasing the hull mass, FD would achieve all that in a manner that's increases the logical consistency of the game and makes their world more true to its own established rules.
The only downside is the hurt feelings, but realistically, gamers are going to find things to complain about no matter what you do. Given that such complaining is functionally a non-modifiable constant, it can be entirely ignored.
Ideally find a way to do it on next docking, so no one gets stranded, and do it at the same time that two new long-range and exploration-leaning ships are released.
