Station Controllers telling us to "maintain heading" after receiving docking clearance bothers me...
1.) We don't have headings to follow in space
2.) We're told to "maintain heading" regardless of whatever our hypothetical heading would be... meaning that to follow the controllers instructions, we'd often have to continue flying in a straight line out into space.
Better phraseology would be: "Maintain approach", or "Approach your discretion"
