You might want to avoid any area where corp factions help the exploiting power. Mahon and winters i think. The powerplay groups will resist and or revert your gains.

And best of luck.

Noted, and cheers for the tip!

/mod hat welcome comrade. We have an extensive people's republic on the edge of space!

I have found a struggling communist cause, indeed on the edge. I'm going as soon I've got my equipment together! So a few hours.

As I once told members of a wing I once belonged to, I feel like Elite communists would work like communism is supposed to work on paper, i.e. the fantasyland where everyone gets the same thing and there is no corruption. Instead of Stalinist totalitarianism that we're familiar with.

Come on...the whole game is built upon backstabbing and corruption....you can hope for a utopian communist state...but I can guarantee you, slaves and tinned meat (which, in all likelihood, has some % of human in it!), will break down the walls of purity...and the authoritarian nature of the communist regimes will rear their ugly heads. Power corrupts...no matter the intentions of the people that set up the government.

Hehe, near infinite money tends to make every ism very workable. :p Anyway, the edge of the bubble is where I hang around too. Espescially the side towards Maia, so I'm everywhere within 15 minutes in my Viper. :)

I'm going to do it. I'm going to scout the edge of the bubble, find a faction (communist of course), and help them overthrow the filthy corporations!

Rise up people!

Good luck with that. It's just kind of sad that Communism doesn't prevent / disables Black Markets.

But not everyone can be Feudal, Patronage, Dictatorship or Prison Colony I guess ;)

You forget Corporations - we close Black Markets because it harms our bottom line!

Welcome to the Resistance comrade :D.

Lots of options for you on where to go, CIU is the most developed communist bubble, while we the Lave Frontier Alliance have our core region near Lave, in Dijkstra. plenty of corporations, feds and even some imperials to overthrow.

We also have opportunities for conflict with 2 local player factions that just can't seem to stop fighting each other, along with the PMF Daedalo Corp that needs to be overthrown and our friends in Daesistiates, Starstone Enterprises, who are making their own Cooperative bubble.
If you want somewhere out of the way though, look to Ewenet.

Also when I set up in Unelinte/Dijkstra, I thought this area of space was uninhabited, couldn't be more wrong after checking Inara. There's always going to be someone nearby, most likely hostile, either before or after you setup your home system. My advice is don't run, fight to the death.

Yah, it should. My Corporation closes ALL Black Markets.

If not, I bug report it till FDev fixes it.

Hm...I wonder if that's the case with one of the BMs then in one of our Low Sec Systems. The last time we had a Lockdown I also noticed that the BM was operational regardless. Definitly worth looking into.
