You will find that the Stalinists are Alliance Communist factions. You will be dissapointed to find that:
A) Democracy is anti space capitalism
B) Space Capitalism is anti democracy
C) Capitalism is pro fascism
D) Stalinists aren’t Communists, neither do they practice Communism as you have been led to believe.
I would love to know where these economic freedoms you refer to are, where most citizens throughout the bubble have to serve either self entitled kings or CEOs through economic hardship, where only 0.001% of the population are ‘the true elite’. In space capitalism (and neo-classical imperialism), all must serve the masters, there is no such thing as equality or equity, resources cannot be shared otherwise the power dynamic would fall. Any working alternative is not welcome, this means communist systems are either annexed by the federation, or taken down by fascist dictatorships and corporate kingdoms. Thousands of people thus relocate every year thanks to these proxy wars and calamities.

Lots of options for you on where to go, CIU is the most developed communist bubble, while we the Lave Frontier Alliance have our core region near Lave, in Dijkstra. plenty of corporations, feds and even some imperials to overthrow.

We also have opportunities for conflict with 2 local player factions that just can't seem to stop fighting each other, along with the PMF Daedalo Corp that needs to be overthrown and our friends in Daesistiates, Starstone Enterprises, who are making their own Cooperative bubble.
If you want somewhere out of the way though, look to Ewenet.
Also when I set up in Unelinte/Dijkstra, I thought this area of space was uninhabited, couldn't be more wrong after checking Inara. There's always going to be someone nearby, most likely hostile, either before or after you setup your home system. My advice is don't run, fight to the death.
Daedalo are a faction we’ve been keeping an eye on too. No shots fired yet but I’ve the feeling we’re only one misplaced expansion away from setting a good part of the fringe on fire.
The best way to harm those filthy corporations is to refuse to fly any ships manufactured by a corporat... oh wait.
But seriously, I hope you're doing this in open. Every time my faction goes to war, the traffic reports fill up with ships that I never actually see flying around.
