Lol. They were great strategists. You, allegedly, kidnapped a princess that a great many of us could care less about. You couldn't even choose a good target for your abduction..
Well, you need to either be a founder or have Elite in one rank to have access to Shinrarta Dhezra, which is the HQ of the Pilot's Federation. So if you can't even visit, why should you lead?

I am happy to report that as of today, the Princess remains securely in my possession. The Imperial pilots of the 13th Legion and others waged a relentless assault against me and my forces in an attempt to rescue her, but failed by a narrow margin. They were simply unable to overcome one of the greatest fighting force ever assembled, consisting of Smiling Dog Crew, Nomads and independent pilots.
Tomorrow, we continue phase two of my plan: to find a Thargoid, and then feed it a princess.

I don’t see why people are so hung up on Aisling Duval. We have LITERALLY ONE (1) JPG remixed to all fuggery of her for the entirety of her existence: She and the other Power Ponces are literally ED’s version of star citizen concept ships.

I doubt anyone took him seriously enough to bother really. Though while the fact that he doesn't have the actual princess was anticipated, the confirmation is always nice.

This event was arranged as an entirely opt-in PvP event, the OP effectively presented themselves as a piracy target with a 'valuable' target. I like the basic idea, it seems a good way to bring the community together in a consensual way, avoiding the usual complaints about 'non-consensual' PvP in an open environment.
There is some banter, but overall it's very much a positive step compared to the OP's usual attention seeking tactics, I hope this motivates more players to advertise themselves as viable targets.
Oh, I know what the event is all about. I just like poking a bit of fun around it. It's good and healthy for people to exercise their imaginations. Being a PvP event, as a non-PvP player, this doesn't have any bearing on me. Everybody is allowed to have their own fun - preferably for all, not at the expense of anyone else. I doubt very much Zerek's player is nearly as delusional as his character, any more than I am the Cosmic Curmudgeon I project.
