I appreciate the support, but I suspect that you misunderstand the title of Overlord. An Overlord does not "get *the* girl"; an Overlord gets *all* girls.
See. He gets it.

How could Napolean Bonaparte or Alexander the Great lead great armies in spite of the fact that they couldn't *personally* out-fight those they led?
Seeing as how we're just making stuff up now -
I freed the Princess, everything's cool. I am also marrying her, and I'm now Prince Of Space. If 200 pilots come to my wedding bash, everyone gets an Anaconda.
Because they where great tactitians and actual leaders and did not waste their time writing bad fan fiction on a game forum.
I don’t see why people are so hung up on Aisling Duval.
I don’t see why people are so hung up on Aisling Duval. We have LITERALLY ONE (1) JPG remixed to all fuggery of her for the entirety of her existence: She and the other Power Ponces are literally ED’s version of star citizen concept ships.
I didn’t even know of (or care about) her plight until I read this thread. And I still don’t, now.

I am happy to report that as of today, the Princess remains securely in my possession.
It seems to me that the only WIN/WIN scenario we have is the one where I am nominated as the new leader of the Pilot's Federation, and not resisted.
DID nobody watch his video? That girl is just some random Dancer he picked up at a dive station somewhere! The princess is fine at home doing.. you know princess stuff
We seemed to miss a very important Option:
"Draw: No body cares what happens to Aisling or Null, and continues playing the game as if they've never seen any of this, since it only happened in someone's head."
"But hey, that's just a theory. A Delusional Theory."

This event was arranged as an entirely opt-in PvP event, the OP effectively presented themselves as a piracy target with a 'valuable' target. I like the basic idea, it seems a good way to bring the community together in a consensual way, avoiding the usual complaints about 'non-consensual' PvP in an open environment.
There is some banter, but overall it's very much a positive step compared to the OP's usual attention seeking tactics, I hope this motivates more players to advertise themselves as viable targets.
