Dude, you got SJW antivir...![]()
LMAO yeah, but I don't know what happened, after I uninstalled it, all it now good, well I'm gonna wait until they fix the bugs, just too buggy for me to enjoy.

I gave up on that right from the off and installed the mods for save anywhere, better lockpicking visibilty and some console commands for giving a dot for archery and disabling motion blur.
I can't seem to get those settings to load from a 'user.cfg' though. I've tried a few locations but it never gets read in.
Cant.... stop..... playing. Man this game is good.

The combat becomes pretty addictive, after a while, doesn't it?![]()
It certainly does. I got fed up struggling so I spent a good few hours in the training ring with Barnard. I’m now fairly lethal even with my second character save (save 1 is for the story playing as a heavily armoured knight, save 2 is to mug off the plot and just be a poacher).

I only tried it for a short moment but please explain how it works.
You move the mouse to where you want to hit, then you click to do the strike right?
All this fancy dance moves and sword stuff...Pfft.
I just run backwards shooting arrows until they fall over [yesnod]
It goes in main game directory and make sure it's not 'user.cfg.txt' but 'user.cfg'. Works for me.
Woss with the motion blur? Does it remove some of the effects in melee combat? I mostly do the horse archer thing though, enemies just have too quick reflexes for me. Changed to warhammer, tho - with pretty good results so far.
Pretty much but move the mouse too far and you untarget the enemy. There are advanced techniques as well, like choosing the direction you want to attack from then hold the mouse button. From this position you can now switch to another and let go, leading to a feinting attack to trick your opponent to guarding where they thought your attack was coming from. So much fun to brain someone when they think you are going to go an upward sweeping attack.I only tried it for a short moment but please explain how it works.

I haven't as yet got used to fighting 2 or more opponents. What I normally do is take at least one out at range with a bow, and they rely on armour to fend them off.
I seem to remember reading that the mouse wheel will switch opponents but I never got that to work. I have to use the Shift key to unlock from one and aim at another if one tries to flank me. But it's all good fun.
