interstellar factors

did a pirate mssion in ceo. got 200 credits bounty cause i shoot npc. where to pay the bill around ceo or sothis. only 3 jumps possible...thanks for quick answers...

Search the galaxy map under services, interstellar factors are a searchable item. They are usually low security systems.

thanks. but wrong answer. yes i know, but around ceo or sothis is no station in the near (40ly max.) to pay off. am i wrong ?

How is this a wrong answer if he's right?

Its not his fault there is no Interstellar factor near you..

Did you tried to pay off the bounty at the minor faction you got it?

i

Then you'll have to find a nearby place where you are not wanted to refuel at, and potentially outfit a fuel scoop, then you'll be able to navigate to the nearest IF.

im sorry for misunderstanding, but i wrote i have 3 jumps only. next interstellar station is roundabout 300ly away... so far. and... yes i checked to pay off bounty to minor faction. but impossible. i get only anonym access to a few station-features... blackmarket f.ex.

Hate to say it man...but unless you get a friend or fuel rat to escort you back.....your up a creek without a paddle.....I'm sure this wasn't kind of situation wasn't thought of in the new CnP system.

Yes, you are going to need a fuel rat, and its going to be a long journey. Its an interesting scenario.

So, how far is "3 jumps"? In a starter Sidey, that would be 19 ly, in a exploconda, 180 ly.

There is an independent system with outfitters 103 ly from Ceos, Almagest. You could go there and refit your ship for the trip to an IF. Or, if you have one, have a travel capable ship transferred to the shipyard there.

If your range is at least 60 ly, you could consider calling the Fuel Rats and ask them if they were willing to do a refuel on your way.

Of course, you can always self destruct - but at the moment, there seem to be a few problems with that, judging from the bug reports, so I wouldn't really recommend it.

Final (at the moment) idea - switch to "economic routes". Might be enough to get you to Almagest on your own.

...I'm sure this wasn't kind of situation wasn't thought of in the new CnP system.

I wouldn't be too sure about that. Ceos-Sothis has been considered borderline for quite some time. So if the side effects of C&P drive up the risk of working there, I'm all for it. TANSTAAFL.

what happens, if i destroy my ship? there is no other solution... no fuel, no shipyard access... nothing... stations like ceo and sothis are deadly for pirate- and bounty missions... etc. maybe it is better to reinstall all weapons and grief boring missions... or finish the game...

It's an interesting scenario... OP cant have access to services to buy a fuel scoop or a new ship. Nearest Interstellar Factors is 250Ly+ away. What now?

Did we just found a new important rule for Elite Dangerous? Never engage in combat situations without a fuel scoop?

well, having a scoop and at least nominal independence from refueling at stations does seem to have taken on a certain additional importance for folks seeking (or risking) a criminal career, doesn't it? I rather like it...

How did the OP get to Ceos / Sothis without a fuel scoop in the first place?

thank you all and you ashnak, for your great answers. my vulture can't jump more than 32ly... im loving massacre-, bounty- and pirate missions, but without a real solution of frontier support, love is gone.

My tip: Fly in Economy mode (selectable in the galaxy map) and a liberal dollop of patience so you'll cover more LY on the fuel you have available.

In theory, you should respawn at the nearest non-hostile (and non-wanted) station. In practice, there are a few 3.0 bug reports where people were returned to their starter Sidey .

But again - what's your absolute range, in either fast or economic routing mode? Almagest is independent, so you should have full access to all facilities there (no IF, though).

Virionbot, contact the fuel rats. I never did that, but from what i read about them, they're amazing people and im sure they will help you!
