Did they improve the ship's high beams? That planet looks frikkin' lit!

My mainbeam still only provides enough candles to light up the asteroid I'm just just about to faceplant.

If there was an engineer that tweaked the brightness of ship's beams, they would have a queue that spilled out of their workshop and halfway around the block <grin>

I'd get it, even if it cost a 100 LTDs!

Temperatures were in the mid-30’s Celsius (80’s Fahrenheit) with only some small fluctuations.

All is good, we have been here before, the earth will survive.

Its also about CO2, and the kind of world at the time. We have come quite a long, and complex way, since mostly needing concerns of large predator lizards and their prey. 90% of what binds and builds modern society is very vulnerable to extremes of temperature.

Still, I'm not worried for the earth, it will survive, maybe not humans but that is another discussion.
