Trading and bus driving can both be very profitable, but you need to be shifting sufficient quantities, especially for the former. If you want to make good money as a trader then you need to pay attention to your routes, seek out the good ones for yourself (don't rely on third party tools), though in the early days just running basic medicines from an industrial system to a system in outbreak will quickly earn you enough cash to buy a T6 and from there it is only a hop skip and a jump to a T7 and after that the galaxy is your, trading, oyster. For trading my recommendation on ship progression would be Sidewinder > Hauler > T6 > T7 > whatever you like.
The T6, when equipped with appropriate modules, is also very good for passenger missions and as an explorer, both of which will bring in cash by the bucket loads, with care.
If you are thinking about combat then I can't help you.
Removed, OP already has an Anaconda and is earning 5 to 10 million an hour. Not sure why he is asking for advice on newcomers forum.

Yes, OP is doing just fine, when I was starting the game over 3 years ago, it took me a month to get the Cobra. That's how low the income was back then. Now people complain about 5-10 mil/hour...
I'm sorry if u took it that way, i'm not complaining i came here to talk to people, if they knew some staff ii missed out, or tips that could be usefull witch i don't know about like colonia or watever i dont know. i dont consider myself as an expert in the game, so i came here.
I understand, no problem. Welcome to the forums!
I don't think I can help you much, it looks like you figured out more or less how the game works.
But if you didn't visit these forums in the past as you say, than you missed some money making schemes or exploits, guides on how to make 100-300 mil/hour. Those who didn't, made small fortunes in just a few days. Last example of this was "fixed" by FD just couple of days ago so you're too late. You can read about it HERE.
What you can do is hang around and watch out for the next one, they pop up every few months or so.
No one's mentioned combat actions yet so, Pirate Hunting missions.
Reliable 20 mil an hour, pushing up to 30 mil if the stars align. You need to find the right system with the right state, but it's straight forward from there.
The schemes already mentioned aren't "good money", they're exploits. I'd suggest avoiding them personally, too easy is a lot worse than too hard.
Wing trade missions. Im currently running 4 at the same time solo right now. I stand to make about 40-50 mil from it. For only a couple of hours of work.
