Questionable English Knowledge of Frontier Staff

I hadn't expected this. Really surprised me when I saw it.

You must be new if you didn't expect this. They're pretty notorious for their typos, both in and out of game. I think my favorite example was the newsletter that contained the phrase "&#*@-kits".

Wasn't there also 'astrological' used instead of 'astronomical' in the newsletter or some official article to do with the Trappist system?

Same thing happens in the game's code apparently lol. A character missing here and boom no more CIF rewards, a wrong character over ther and boom beige planets everywhere.

Think about it OP. This is the same group of allegedly college/university educated individuals that thinks drones are 'limpets'. Or that thinks your character has to be referenced by it's full name in almost every sentence by the mission board NPC.

This shouldn't really be much of a surprise. :D

"Limpet" is a reference to the drones' ability to latch on to things, nothing wrong with that. I mean, they could have called them "Barnacle Drones", but I think that might have been more confusing.

I know this triggers people but I think these typos and grammatical errors make a more realistic Galaxy as not everyone (NPC's) in the Galaxy is going to speak perfect English and never make mistakes.

For all we know these typos and grammatical errors are deliberate. ;)
