Where are the Cutters and Corvettes?

Looking for Haz Res that have big ships.

Alll the haz res i have visited since 3.0 only have small ships, the bigger normally i'ts a dropship or t9;

I've done a few of those and it was always Anaconda leader.

In my winged assassination mission the other day, the target was in a Cutter, However, when I dropped into their signal source, he'd changed into an Annie. I should have recorded it and sent it as a bug report.

Combat rating may have some effect on the large ships spawning for players.

As far as NPC's, I find Cutters to be rarer. Pirates and terrorists have access to them and the bigger ships are becoming more common w/ engineered mods.

I've honestly been curious about this myself.. now one can argue it's a navy ship and wouldn't be in their hands and for them to have it they gotta climb the ranks themselves like we do, but that doesn't stop them from having FAS's, FGS's, FDS's, Clippers, Couriers and Imp Eagles.. I want to say there /could/ be some kind of reason behind this, but IIRC there's Pirate Farraguts for crying out loud lmao

Got a couple of chieftains in a high res the other day. I remember I saw the trails and thought: "oh, I don't know this ship" and went to check.

Cutters and Corvettes require Naval rank as officially they're naval ships. You won't see them being flown by just ANYBODY.

This is why you see them in CZ's. Because that's a naval fight.

REZ sights are pirates and authority. You might see them in the authority ships but rarely if ever in the hands of pirates unless they're players.

I mean seriously. The ones in the hands of player are decommissioned Naval Surplus ships stripped down of all their military hardware.

Sorry but that is an invalid argument since pirates have capitals ships..

Never had this happening. Only case is when an NPC changed its ship in a station after docking, but following low wakes should work ok. Sometimes wingmates get lost, that I've seen quite a lot..
