All right, so I don't play Elite too often, I kind of just play in spurts here and there, really makes the game feel new again each time I play, and I haven't really played much since before the release of Beyond. So I'll begin the story of how the new crime and punishment system has either got me boned, or really confused;
It starts when I come on to finally try and finish the grind to getting that sweet sweet Federal Corvette and I hear about a pair of systems good for data deliveries known as Sothis and Ceos. So, I take my A-grade ASP Explorer and take a 21 jump trip to these far out systems, away from any other inhabited systems and also happen to be controlled by the same faction. I do my data deliveries and I see it's time to do the Federal Navy Progression mission, which only seems to be being offered in assassination missions, which is all good. My ASP Explorer is not fitted with any guns however, so I use the shipyard and get my Federal Gunship delivered out to me in Ceos and take a pirate assassination mission in Sothis and off I go to bag me a Jolly Roger.
I arrive to the location on where Captain Jack Sparrow is supposed to be found and quickly head to the signal source, setting my power to weapons as I get ready to drop into the zone, "I'm ready.." I tell myself. As soon as I'm in I deploy my hardpoints, spinning around as I try and find my target. Suddenly, I see a Fer-de-Lance barreling straight at me with Michael Bolton singing in the background, at this moment, I knew this was my man. I take aim, and wait for his name to show, confirming my target, I see the name, I pull the trigger...
I fired before the scan could complete and land myself with a nice 200CR bounty. Shocked, I quickly realise my mistake but quickly brush it off for I have a fight to win, and a glorious battle it was. The FDL managing to easily outmaneuver my cumbersome brick that my dakka dakka machine is. But he soon met his demise when he crossed paths with my 7 multi-cannons, tearing his elegant ship to shreds. (Seriously, I want to thank Frontier's music team for making this battle one of the most memorable in my Elite: Dangerous career.)
I soon began to head back to the station which had issued me the mission, I soon see that I am wanted in both Sothis and Ceos now when I check the map. I arrive to the station and quickly enable silent running and sneak in and turn in the mission. I immediately notice something, I am locked out from almost every service at the starport, I quickly see my dilemma. I am in 2 isolated systems, wanted in both, in a ship that would be unable to make the trip back to the bubble, unable to upgrade it to make the trip, and unable to get access back to my ASP Explorer. So Commanders, I am here to ask for any advice on how I should resolve my issue out here, the markets refuse to serve a criminal and the coffee maker in my Gunship has run dry, I'm cold and hungry, please help..
Sincerely.
Commander Solyse
TL;DR version:
I did a dumb and got myself wanted in a couple systems far far away from any other populated systems in a ship unable to make the trip back and have no access to upgrades, fuel, or the shipyard and am unsure of what to do about it.
