I dont know how Long u all are waiting and how big your paitians is....but my Group is waiting now since LAST YEAR AUGUST!! We get always the same answer and the same promisses which never has hold...
For e.g. before 2.4 update (that was last year october, if I´m right), that FDev has a lot work to do with the update....2.4 has bee released...and....Nothing! Waiting the next 4 Months has gone and then the same with 3.0!!

I really feel fooled on this Topic and it seems like if there is no pressure, there is no reason to answer us!

Next Point:
Due to this huge Delays a lot of guys who tried to implement theire PMF have given up and frontier (or even Brett) are working on death Groups (BECAUSE THEY HAVE GIVEN UP!) and this is work for nothing then!!

Next Point:
If I recieve a hundred mails per day from my customers (and I do recieve that ammount of emails per day on my Job), what I Need for my Work, and I dont Read them for a Long Long time (the example with the 1000pm`s on Bretts accs) I would have been kicked out of my Job! Thats NO way how to lead a community!


the bottum line of all of this is..if u all are so paitiant and defending this bad flow of work again and again, nobody will take care about us! We`ve seen this three weeks ago when those YouTube Videos of Plater and down to earth astronomy has been released that at this Point we have got answers ( in my eyes not relaible answers) from Brett again after about more then a month without any info!!!!

I`M ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR MY GROUP AND ALL THE PILOTS WE HAVE!

I agree it's frustrating, we have been waiting just as long as you and we have already had 1 rejection. I'm just a realist, we can all shout and stamp our feet as much as we want but in the grand scheme of things it's not really going to make that much of a difference.

If you have maintained that empty slot in your chosen system (unlike us, bad Frontier for not making this clear in the application thread!) and complied with all prerequisite requirements for your chosen system then i doubt you have too much to worry about apart from wether you are in the batch they are processing or in the next batch.

Personally i am awaiting confirmation of rejection, again. If I am wrong then thats a bonus... If not then we will go away and look at it again. The only issue for us is that if we have indeed been rejected due to the 7 faction limit then we have to decide wether we want to spend the next few months doing BGS to open up this 7th Faction space and keep it free whilst not knowing when it needs to be open by, or how long for.

Brett C is going to the Frontier meet in Boston today, so i don't think we'll hear anything until tomorrow now at the earliest

I really don't like to be the "ill news bringer" but...

We all saw this "movie" before. FDev comes and say "hey, next week we'll have news for you". Then we get all full o hopes again, someone in our groups gets in charge of fireworks, party preparation, etc. Then more than a month later... where are "those news"? Do I have to point how many times we have seen this on this thread or on that other one (the official one about PMFs)? I don't think that is needed right?

So, as I have said before, I will only BELIEVE IT, when I SEE IT.

When the other commander said "the week is over" he is right. I doubt FDev will create any PMF in game in mid cycle. So, if we are not in the game TODAY, only next thursday, right?

No meltdowns here. I warned already about the bang and fizzle phenomenon, I'm in the fizzle region now. When Brett said news would come this week, I didn't really expect anything. There is still time to prove me wrong but if not, then who cares. My group has moved onto more community projects than meaningless BGS attempts and I started playing Oblivion again :) having lots of fun out of the cockpit but will return when things improve.

If that does not work out by tomorrow, Brett will lose credibility. It's a pity that this is a brilliant idea as the PMF was only open to a few people. I thought it would be an interesting thing to encourage player to play in a group.

He's a community manager based in the US. Brett doesn't lose much if anything. It's proccessed, just takes a bit of time.

Brett told he would come up with some news, precisely a list with factions and status.
At least that was my understanding.

Last week Thu/Fri or this week. So FDev still have 24 hours time.
And nobody promised an implementation by this week.

Tbh I believe we should see a list - hopefully by tomorrow latest - but when PMFs then actually appear in the game is another question.

Anyway - time to rant when this week is over without a list. Not yet.

As I understand it, it'd land on a large quarterly patch like 3.1 without faction descriptions. Assuming there isn't some kind of crisis in beta or something.

Crisis in beta? Like not having PMFs perhaps?

Like I said above, it's largely too late for most but I enjoy a little flight time here and there I suppose. Ultimately though the game is dead to me now other than the occasional dabble and it's ludicrous to me that such investment is made on things that two or three commanders go look at whilst the rest of the revenue slips away in disappointment.

If you look at the system in the galaxy map, you should see a description there

Sometimes player factions are added without a description, and then the description is added later in a separate update
