I KNEW IT!![]()
I'd kill some noobs in Eravate if it would get me the com panels bug fixed, and I'm already in mobius, so no, OP, you're not right.
edit: added smiley for clarification
I'd say you're wrong. The biggest QoL issue unresolved is the lack of a hula-girl bobblehead, followed closely by customisable HUD colours.
Am I right or am I right? Right? An official PvE (Players vs Environment) mode in the main menu

I think everyone would be more than happy with that. Just like WOW. Although if they do implement this I would hope that it doesn’t come with the complete removal of solo or private modes because the thought of not being able to dock somewhere because there’s 500 other people trying to dock on the only medium pad would lead to inevitable insanity
That is not what we mean by QoL features...
Alright, own up, who keeps on supplying Glob with hand grenades?

Yes. WE KNOW ALREADY!
Some of us would like the HUD color to be changed without things like the friendly colors not being green, hostiles not being red, NPC portraits going funny colors... In short, we want to get rid of the ugly orange interface color. Those of us who fly in VR know that a green colored HUD is easier to read because of the sub-pixel layout so it's not just aesthetics driving this request.

No, that's not how you spell 'wrong'You're right.
What we need is all of the PvE content completely reworked to act like PvP content. Look at Eve Online's PvE updates that makes said content. This is what we need so we don't have to hear PvE "carebears" crying about getting ganked; Because even the "hardest" PvE we currently have is nothing compared to even the crappiest of PvP CMDRs. It will also stop griefing as we'd be used to fighting against AI that acts like PvP, so therefore we would all be more than capable of handling our own against other murderhobos or honest PvPers. The same can be said for those murderhobos; so they can stop throwing themselves on the ground in a temper-tantrum when the PvE players permanently quit playing in Open and leaving the "PvPers" crying about how Open is so empty and that there's nobody to anymore.

This game will never be Eve in a cockpit no matter the few of you who constantly seem to desire this. As for your PVE content completely reworked to act like PVP content. They did that at one point, but Mother was forced to tone the AI down a bit as it wasn't driving the murderhobos from the game, it was causing casual and newer players to stop playing. When you have an adversary that is challenging it can be fun, when you have one constantly killing you and you can't make any headway the game becomes no longer fun. For many the AI is a challenge, for some not really, but you can't make it all challenging for the top level players because you harm those below them and make it almost impossible to play. So you have to balance the AI so that is mainly challenging for the average player and throw in some that are more challenging for advanced players. Making AI act like PVP is ludicrous, I'm sorry. Most PVErs like me don't want to PVP or deal with that kind of playstyle and you want the AI to act like that now? It wouldn't cause PVERs to leave open it would cause them to leave the game.
And thank you for the insult... am a proud "Carebear"

Very good point, I agree. So maybe tweaking the PvE content to be no different to that of PvP might be too much. However this does not fix the issue that PvE content here still does not give PvE players any idea of how brutal and quick PvP content can be, even in this game. At the very least, buffing the AI in some way outside of just giving the AI more health(because bullet sponges is a crap way to deal with said issue) would help a lot in my experiences in many other games, Eve being one of the major contributing factors. I know PvP is not important enough to matter as much in Elite as it does in games like WoW or Eve, yet it still pains me that the only way for me to even hope to get any good at "PvP" is only one of 2 ways.
I either try getting into PvP and only end up at the rebuy screen before I even get a chance to deploy my hardpoints
Or I turn into a seal-clubber and 'git gud' by 'practicing' my 'skills' on helpless victims who thus experience the previous way of constantly getting -punched with a never-ending rebuy screen.
Maybe the AI shouldn't be as good as the best PvPer, but moderately varying degrees to a certain limit of the AI difficulty would make their current combat ranks actually mean something. As it stands now, I've flown in many ships by now and there is not much a difference, if any at all, between Harmless AI and Elite AI, regardless of the ship they are in.
Oh, and yes. I love being a Carebear myself. But sometimes I get that inevitable PvP itch, though I can't ever scratch that because I'm always feeding and being the content of the CMDRs who are more into the PvP parts of the game than I ever will be.
