Have you consulted a psychologist

:D (;))

It was more like, sent to. :p When I was a child.
Nothing serious. I just couldn't read to the standard for my age.
But seriously, I found it strange never seing clouds for weeks on end. It took me 6 months to stop wearing a jacket.

That's a fine tradition. But I was referring to the size of the glass, it's to small for a beer. Sorry, I'm bavarian.

So the past few days have been quite a bit cooler, which is welcome. There is still some horrible wind, though. It's really kicking up the dust and pollen. Bleah.

Nellis was like this. Lots of fine dust in the electronics. Allergies. Plus, flooding to the deck of Interstate 15 at Charleston Blvd. All the major roads were built on washes. :(

Between the jellyfish, sharks, sea snakes, spinefish at sea, and the unlimited number of hazards on land, my enthusiasm for the twenty hour flight to Australia had dropped off the lottery plan. :(

Had a buddy from Boeing got to Hobbiton. Now, I don't need to go to NZ, either. Scary short-field bush flying. Got my coins and notes.

If it makes you happy, the statistics show that the deadliest animal in Australia is a horse. More people die in horse-related accidents than are killed by any one of the numerous poisonous, venomous and toothy things that live there. :)

So just keep away from horses and you'll be fine. If you see one following you, call the police.

If I recall we are the deadliest animal species on Earth followed by the mosquito.

The danger caused by sharks is over-exaggerated.

I know a couple people who have been bitten.
An image search for "Lanikai shark attack" will show a recent, very traumatic injury from where I swim all the time.
