Took the plunge

No issues what do ever and great fun.

Thought haven't progressed the story after arriving at the Mill, just Bow hunting and treasure finding

Just take your time, there is a lot to do even if you don't push for the main story.

Literally the most boring game I have ever played in my life. Washing the dishes and picking up dog in the yard is more fun.

Hopefully Steam will give me my money back, but since the intro itself takes three hours to play I'm not going to hold my breath.

It's a slow starter, however after the main intro, the game opens up and is more open world, I think it will get better with the new content and after they get up to speed.
WH was very low on funds so that is the main reason the released an unfinished game.

Unfortunately I'm stuck with it. Steam won't give me a refund.

Word of warning - by the time the game "opens up" for you to figure out if it's your bag, or not, you've gone well past the steam refund period.

I have a feeling this is going to be a $60 title that I will perpetually have "8 hours played" on my steam stats. No, not a feeling, I know it - I have no desire to wash myself in horse troughs wander and around 15th century Germany waiting to die of rickets.

P.S. "Savior Schnapps"... lol. What kind of stupid bull mechanic is that?

it's Bohemia, tho.

You can mod that schnapps requirement out if you want. I didn't personally found the game better for it.

Shame it's not your thing. The game opens up a lot after you progress the main story to the sword training bit.

Germany, Bohemia, whatever. Either way you're just diggin' in the dirt, eatin' mud pies.

I read that there are some mods for it. But yeah, the game is not my thing. It's a shame, and I wish that Steam would let me refund or trade it.

It was right where the game opens up that you mentioned - that's where I finally lost interest.

New patch it great, fixing most of the problems in the game, the new DLC roadmap also looks good, I’m enjoying how they work hard to fix the mess from the released version.

We are now on 1.5
