Oh, I figured the Engineering Bonus would last until 30 May - in my books that would naturally include that day (= valid until 30 May 23:59 in-game time and terminates on 31 May - 00:00).
Hope not many folks delayed any planned use of that Bonus for today.
(not a biggie for me, I finally managed to finish my remaining FSDs yesterday... Only took 3 months xD )

Ah, okay. My bad since I didn't notice that time given, I only looked at the Date.

The email was a lot more decisive: "Date and Time: From today to 11:00 AM UTC on May 30."

I don't know about 'pinned' blueprints, as I was using the ACTUAL engineers (as I needed experimental effects), and they stopped giving the bonus around midnight on the 29th UTC time, that's a good 11 hours before 11am on the 30th

Except it is 10:25 UTC at the moment and you are mistaking it with your local time.

Hi Edward... please tell me that is not the official statement? I farmed ALL weekend and in the end did not get ANY engineering done. It finished on the 29th, NOT the 30th, and certainly NOT anywhere near 11am UTC time. Unfortunetately it takes a seriously LONG TIME to find materials in this game. It took me all weekend to get what I needed, and then poof, the finish line moved and I just wasted an entire weekend nearly killing myself for nothing
You're gonna have to draw a clock face or post a YouTube video, they wont understand that.
No it didn't, I was engineering under the discount this morning and it reverted around 11 am on the 30th exactly as they said it would.

NOT on PS4 it didn't. I put in a support ticket, posted on here, and put in a bug report. I had just finsihed farming and had just got to Plieades in a slow cutter to get a bunch of Thrusters modded, a lot of thrusters I had sent over there, and it was over.
I had planned it all out to get back to the bubble and actually enginner the ships I had spent an entire weekend farming towards.

Nope - they said 11 am UTC. That has not happened yet...
I'm not an FD basher, but they flipped the switch early this time.
Edit: at leasta couple of hour early - others say earlier than that.

My guess is it was with BGS tick, which happens at various times in different systems. It's just a guess, but it would explain the discrepancy between people reporting the bonus weekend being on/off at various times.
(But if that's the case, why not just say that so that everyone's on the same page...?)

FDEV are UK based, so I assumed they were working on GMT and I was right to do that. I also got all my engineering done in time, plus some extra's I wasn't bothered about.
DRAW A CLOCK FACE FGS! - they only work in analogue in Cambridge, they haven't gone digital YET!
