What is left?

They did get it right. The Dinosaur fights look fine. This is a game. If you had unrealistic expectations than that's your problem and not Frontiers.
That is a matter of perspective. Enough people have voiced their concern about it, so it's obviously something that could do with looking into. If JPOG managed random interactions (whilst) fighting, then JWE should be more than capable.

Curiously, is there anything you're unhappy with as far as this game is concerned?

How do you honestly expect a developer to overhaul an entire game just so they can make your unrealistic expectation come true?

The fighting looks fine. I don't see why you would think it's boring. This is a park management game. Not Jurassic Pokémon.

The biggest complaint is that it is literally Jurassic pokemon at this point. God everyone acts like the basic features that are not in the game but found in most games are some kind of space age technology that we do not have yet. At best the fighting system is what it is due to lack of time, at worst it is just flat out lazy. I am currently playing the Jurassic Park Builder for mobile phones and it seems to have things like decorations and all kinds of buildings to flesh out your park so why cant this? Yes it too has a turn based battle feature but that is understandable for a mobile game. This game looks so amazing and already has really awesome features like flying helis and shooting from jeeps. The only reason people are so on the fence about this game now that is so close to release is that alot of the issues people bring up are not even hard to fix.

Just cause you have a small group of extremely loud whiners doesn't mean there is an issue. It just means you are dealing with a fan community full of whiny man children. Cause it seems like that's all some people like to do is whine and complain.

Anything I am unhappy about in the game? I wish there was some better looking clouds. I wish there was some blood. I thought Nublar would let us rebuild the 1993 park. I was wrong on that one. Of course I have already made these concerns known as did a lot of people. There just isn't any need to complain about them nonstop or to make up things to complain about.

Look around. I've praised parts of the game too. In any case, if people don't feedback on their concerns, then how exactly are the developers expected to know what we want, what works, what doesn't, what's liked, and what isn't?

I'll agree that constant whining and claims of "I'm not buying the game now" are childish - if someone doesn't want to buy the game great, they needn't rage quit about it, just don't buy it, but I fundamentally believe that concerns should be spoken about. Changes can't be made to games (changes which do happen) unless the community first speaks up. Having read other threads, it certainly does seem as though Frontier have listened to feedback, and so feedback (not to be mistaken for whining) is justified. You're never going to silence opinions, and quite frankly, you shouldn't anyway - without them, there is no change.

Aside from what you've already mentioned, there must be other features, items (etc) that you'd like to see for this game in the future. If you don't speak up about them, how are the developers expected to know? It is a shame about the blood too, though I guess that one is on Universal. Shame Frontier couldn't just change the colour to purple and name it 'splash damage' or something...

Good. You figured it all out. Go get your refund and stop whining on the forums. Go to reddit with the rest of the whiners.

The only one whining is you, my friend.

Whenever somebody voices a complaint about the game you come charging up on your trusty steed, a Knight in a Shining Fedora, to smite them down with your e-cig shaped Lance and dismiss their complaints no matter how valid.

I think (...) is that there is so much misinformation being thrown around that people are literally picking up anything they can and running with it IE:Lack of herds. There was never going to be a lot of customization because of it being on ps4 and xbox one, they would have rather shown off more dinos instead of having place able benches, which for the general population is a good thing.

That´s true. But I must also admit (on the customization part) this is a compromise of the devs I do not understand. Showing more Animals than "benches" seem absolutly logic for marketing. On the other hand if there´re no decoration option in game at all (cos of the PS4-Xbox versions) my Park looses its individuality and that´s what such a game is all about. And that kind of game is not meant to be on consoles I truley believe. And consoleplayer (no offence I am one too, in other context) shouldn´t be part of the target group for the product. This compromise hurts the main community of players which uses of course the PC version. (if it´s true with no customize options at all)

When it comes down to it though this is still the best Dinosaur game we will have in a long time and they (...) worked their butts off to give us this and I feel bad because with every new feature or game play or dinosaur they are getting beat down more and more.

I also agree on this one with you Andrew. It is still the best Dinosaur game we will have in a long time. And as I emphasized as well you can see how much of passion is in that project. No doubt. And I´ve got many positive feedback for JWE that I can give frontier. And I truley believe frontier is already aware of what they did right.
I understand the frustration, which is caused because the negative-feedback is louder than the positive-feedback at this moment. I really do. And I also see some people complaining about, let´s call it profane things, which do not help starting a real discussion about the game at all. Otherwise there´re really essential things that need to be discuss, (in the best case with the Devs and without emotions). The part with the interaction for example, which you asked me to explain. Interaction meants not the herding-thing itself, but it meants the variety of interaction possibilities, that have been seen and confirmed so far. I try to speak as cautious as possible, cos the truth of the world is "I know that I don´t know anything at all" like sokrates said. I need to play JWE on my own first to have a clear view. So that´s why I always talk about my "impression based on the material I´ve seen so far". At this point we seem to have no logs, rocks, toys or anythingelse that could give the animals stimulation to "behave" differently to eachother. I think on the species profiles were the only "powerful interaction" was 3 herbivores are standing in a circle and stare / sing to each other. That would have the result, that JWE is no "animal-simulator", which would be okay if the "park-builder" part would be much more present. (Rollercoasters, Decoration etc.) The problem on this side is, that there wont be customization so there is important content missing

There will be updates, there will be DLC. We have no idea what frontier has in store for this game after the FK DLC, but no matter what it is going to be good.

Right. That´s why a dialoge is important in my eyes. After all, no matter if the result is "good" or not, it is an experience. And I believe feedback for frontier is not lost. They´ll listen and learn. There´re companies like Maxis outthere who let you pay to make your "laundry" (Sims4) and there´re companies like frontier, that give their customers a free DLC with new animals and who knows whatelse. I think a factual and neutral conversation will be a huge profit for everyone of us. Cos after all we all love videogames :)

I think the one thing that I am against and that I get strung up is that I have no interest in decorations, I could care less about Trash cans, benches, fountains... etc. I want to see the dinosaurs roam around their pens, watch the guests look at Dinosaurs and take pictures(something confirmed they do). I just hate how people (not always on here) I would rather frontier spending time and money on other features than that, but its like a foreign concept to some.

Don't forget that when you place some of the higer level paths there are benches and trashcans so it is not completely out of the picture, people just like to conveniently leave that part out. I think it is fine on PS4 and XBOX One and I don't think it has to do with it being out on all 3 systems. I think it was more or less time constraint. This is a 30 month game made in 18 months.

I understand your point very clear. I´ve also got other things in mindt I would rather like to have frontiers concentration on. The part with the decoration was just an example. The most important thing for me would be Terra-forming and more unique dinosaur behavior / Interaction to customize the encloser and create a working ecosystem. What´s yours? :)

Honestly to me I want an Island like Nublar, but with a Challenge mode. That is honestly my biggest complaint. I despise Sandbox modes with a hate that I can not even describe. I would like the option to have either Sandbox or a Challenge mode. Now it might change once the game comes out and I can see how it plays out.
