Under 24 hours until the game launches!

personally I haven't got a problem with what specific time its released but I would like to see a simultaneous release with consoles and PC, its disappointing to know steam users have to wait an extra 15 hours.

It may be the 11th for you, but some countries are hours ahead of you. For example, Australia is ahead of South Africa. It's 12:56:21 here. In Sydney, it's 20:56:21. So when that clock strikes midnight, it's the 12th in Sydney, but I'm still on the 11th.
Like wise, New York City? They're currently approaching 7am.
This is not a global release, it's released globally. There is a very big difference here. Released globally means everyone gets it on the date specified. I.e: 12th June. Global release means everyone gets it at the same time, same day regardless of location or timezone. Yes, that means folks in Aus will get it before folks in South Africa, or UK or Europe.

I'm defending the accusation of a "late release" which this most assuredly is not. It's slated for the 12th, it's being released on the 12th.
This is not a difficult concept to grasp.

I think you're wrong, the release is different through PS4, Xbox or Steam, no for country.

I'm living in South Korea and this is one of the first countries in time, but i can get the game when Steam decides, in 1 day and 3 hours. For me, in 4h is 12th june.

I went to the Xbox website, it says the 12th.
I went to the PS website, it says the 12th.
I went to Steam, it says the 12th.

That's still the 12th of June, it lasts 24 hours. Based on your current time, 1 day 3 hours puts the Steam release at 12 June 2018, 23:10:00 (give or take), so still the 12th. Stupid time to a release a game, but that's another topic. xD

sorry, is not the same 12th at 8:00 am and 12th at 10:00pm (first my release hour through Frontier, second my release hour throug Steam)

i don't read anything at Steam page about the difference between buy the game through Steam or Through Frontier. Maybe a official message about the date release could have be written, i think. I pay the same.

Yeah but you seem to not understand that there is a large number of people that are getting it today, on the 11th. Even accounting for timezones doesnt matter because the release date is all over the place. For some people it will be the 11th when they start playing.

Something like in 7 hours will the first people get to play, which is way before the midnight release.

Fighting against the hype:

1. I have played Operation Genesis.
2. I have seen the original trilogy.
3. I have seen jurassic World.
4. I have seen Frontier videos on YouTube about JWE

Any more ideas? : D

I know a lot of people are able to download it already, but not necessarily play it.
I don't know where the person who will get it in 7 hours is from, but another is has 13 hours to go .. and the only logical assumption (from my side) is that the release date is scheduled according to their timezone; which means, regardless of what the date is in another country, it's the 12th of June for them, directly in line with what Frontier have said is the release date.

Please quote this "midnight release" from a Frontier source because I honestly can't find it ( I have looked albeit not very thoroughly, I'm at work so haven't much time ).
I can only find mention of a "released globally" which, as I've explained, is different from a midnight global release; which is where, I believe, the confusion comes from.

I love how people can wait months for the release, but as it gets closer they get increasingly impatient.

Soon™, you can play Soon™ ;)

I had a few plans and this puts a stop to it. And now im gonna have to avoid the forums and reddit because people will happily ruin the experience for others.
