IGN give 4.8/10

To be honest, I have to say it is his opinion and it is still valid. We all have our own

Yes you right in that but if you are working for a professional gaming website that reviews games you can't really put your OWN opinion in the article, it needs to be structured criticism and feedback, both positive and negative. Not for example I find the game good because I enjoy the guns or I find this game bad because well I don't really like park management games so I give it a 4/10.

It has both positive and negative feedback. When you sign the review under your name you are pretty much entitled to give your opinion and of course, being responsible for the consequences, otherwise it would have been IGN - the org - doing it.

An opinion that can change people's mind. A couple of weak minds people on Steam even asked how to cancel the pre-order after reading it.

That is ok, if they are so easily influenced they would have asked for a refund after joining the forum because the water is not blue. Usually a person's opinion only attracts people with the same opinion so all good there as well, and finally, it is ok to have different opinions, and it is ok to dislike other opinions as well. I'm fine with opposite opinions, even sometimes I do like opinions that go against my own and mostly I accept them even if I don't like them.

If people cancels their pre-order because of a pre-release blog post they have their reasons you and I will never understand.

Yeah this rating by IGN won’t deter me any. Ridiculous. The ONLY thing that they said that makes me a bit nervous is the dinosaur lifespan not being long enough. I’ve brought that concern up in the past. I’ll see for myself. So excited!!!

On the plus side, maybe Frontier can take notice and further improve and refine some of these elements of the game.

I probably wouldn't give the game the same rating (we'll see), but I appreciate the critical opinion IGN is providing here. [up]

I'm mostly just here for the dinos.

Cheers.

Whilst I don't typically agree with IGN's reviews this one is rather unfortunate for me as a lot of the points they mentioned were concerns that I had after watching the various live streams etc.
I was really hoping that the maps would get significantly bigger as the game progressed so it's pretty disappointing to learn they are all very small and visual similar. I was also hoping that some of the gameplay or mechanics were more detailed than they were showing off but that doesn't seem to be the case either.

I think the summary is that it's a very small and basic park sim with few customization options I'm definatly buying it anyway and I'm sure it will be fun for the first few hours but it doesn't sound like this game will live up to operation genesis.

Wow, I did not expect THAT. At worst I was thinking something between 6-7. I haven't read it yet, but I will soon. Generally I'm not looking at reviews very much, but looking at aggregates like Metacritic etc. usually does give you some good indication on the quality of the game. I've pre-purchased the game and won't cancel it so I'm waiting for some other reviews and user reviews on steam until I can actually play the game myself.

I just now watch the video and I was disappointed on how this person review the game. That is how the game goes. You have to work for to get everything. Like what frontier said, it is a management game. You have to know how to run the place. I believe frontier will improve this game in the future. Fixing everything that we all have listed. So IGN, reconsider having a professional review the game instead of this poor excuse of a reviewer.

Typical IGN, I don't know how they have the audacity to call them selfs gamers let alone reviewers if there pockets ain't being lined by a developer there going to give a game a bad review, Hence why Activision and EA always get the good reviews because they fill these clowns pockets then people are miss lead to believe that the likes of fifa and COD are good when in truth there junk Dan Stapleton should be ashamed of himself.
