IGN also could have had a later build rather than some of the others, we have no idea. We do know they spent a lot of time in the last week fixing and improving based on feedback,

If BIS says that the AI is not as good as we thought and Frontier said and becomes boring after a while to look at, but at the same time "professional" reviewers say the game has good AI, it indeed sounds like those reviewers either didn't spent much time looking at the animals or have other expectations that the average JP/Dinosaur fan.

The score might be particularly bad, but from PC gamer

"I'm also many hours in and really starting to chafe against the lack of depth in multiple areas."

And rock paper shotgun

"Jurassic World Evolution is the most boring of all possible outcomes for a dinosaur theme park sim. There’s no outlet for creativity and, aside from the prehistoric pals you might make, managing the parks just isn’t a lot of fun."

It is ok if someone doesn't agree because (multiple reasons), it doesn't make them crap reviews neither crap reviewers if they wrote a several pages long review. Get your stuff together people, it is ok if the game is not perfect either, and remember, none of us have played it yet, so we can't say what they wrote is not true.

Just because why not, I did a quick calculation on the average rating of the figures you provided (14 gave a number rating). Removing the reviewers that didnt give a number (2 in total) got an average of 79/100. Feel free to point out if I got my calculations wrong, I may well have mucked up in a few places lol

Edit: looks like dailyvagabond beat me to this calculation in another thread.

The smartass who reviewed the game for the US IGNorant is even more hallucinated than we thought. He really thinks that using in-game money is the same as lootbox.

I completely agree. The RNG and the repeated grind produces beatiful but shallow games and while that might be good and profitable for some years, it will eventually become well known of how the company develops games in the long run.

Yes, a terrible game he spent 30+ hours playing. It was so terrible he couldn't stop playing it.

This is a problem as well. People with unrealistic expectations. While things with video games have progressed and improved they aren't that much, not to what people seem to have expected. While some issues will obviously be taken care of in post release updates some people expectations will never be met.
