Krait to rival Python?

So say we all.

But the SLF (if equipped) will definitely take away quite a bit from this cargo space.
And why would anyone not equip a SFL? It will be the Krait's unique selling point after all.

Edit: yes a combat ship. But still a medium sized combat ship with the potential of many and large optional modules.

I thought Krait was supposed to be a combat ship.
When it comes to mediums with lots of cargo space, they should just downsize the T-7 so it finally fits a medium pad, where it belongs.

The old Krait is a combat ship. The new Krait we now nothing about. From the pictures at the expo, in size it was between a cobra and python and had a SLF bay door.

This may have changed though. Also we know from Lavecom that it has large weapons, so it needs to be at least a medium sized ship.

Why? Vulture & DBX have large mounts...

Though if it has a hangar as speculated, then yes, it most certainly will need a medium pad, especially considering that the frame has to accommodate large weapons as well.

True, but they don't come with a SLF bay as you stated. Also you could see that the ship was somewhat wider then the Vulture.

I'm almost sure this will be a ship similar in capacity to a Keelback, but with larger hardpoints.

I'm not sure having the capacity to die helplessly is much of a capacity at all.

I hope for more from the iconic Krait. And I want another PVP Pirate ship to replace the Python.

I've never equiped an SLF in anything. I'm not interested in having an NPC sidekick. Not interested in having my main ship sitting there with turrets on fire at will as I zoom around in some little one shot wonder either.

I'm guessing some day I'll just equip one on a whim then wonder why the hell I never tried it before.

Not sure why you debate about the size of the Krait. It's been confirmed to be medium sized ship by the devs long time ago.

I don't think the Krait will rival the Python in raw money making utility, but it would have to suck pretty hard for it to be less fun to fly than that flattened slug of a ship.

Combat Keelback basically.

That's what I've got my fingers crossed for.

Could be my new favorite ship if it actually has thrusters. I'm hoping to make an armed explorer out of it.

you sir have no taste have at thee.

I have excellent taste in ENG vs. movement slopes and am positively gluttonous when it comes to vertical/lateral acceleration.

You have wounded my heart good sir. The Python is no slug but a noble stead.

Who's true joy is found in killing Cmdr Anaconda's who foolishly attempt to resist it's pirating prowess.

A medium size multi-role ship that runs cool with good jump range, speed, supercruise and normal space handling. Comes with 12 optional module slots.

x1 optional module slot size of FSD drive.
x2 class 5
x2 class 4
x2 class 3
x3 class 2
x2 class 1
