It would fall apart during the first meeting when they all started ignoring each other. The legal dept and press office would be well staffed though.

If your conspiracy theory that I'm a secret dev is true then I already am in charge. It would also negate your point about lack of communication.
We all know where the LEP content is and that LEP holders are important to FDEV..
BUT if one listened to all the 'arm chair solicitors', it'll be hard to move through all the magic legal paperwork!

We've had pages upon pages of some people alluding to the fact that 'they know better' (because they're arguing the LEP content should have arrived x months/years ago/isnt ever coming and Frontier are too slow/rubbish), so Im pointing out how utterly stark raving bonkers they are for asserting this stuff without a single piece of evidence to back up exactly how and when and why the content should have arrived earlier. If it's not relevant, then I don't know what is.
And to be clear. No I don't really know diddly squat either. Sure, I personally know some devs with lots of experience in making big games - and I have a vague understanding of how much time and effort, coffee and problem solving goes into making games - but I have no clue about most of the issues Frontier face in making this game. But I am prepared to give the entire team the benefit of the doubt that they want to make the best game they can and that they aren't sat about wasting their own time and money just to make sure a few people are having to wait longer than they want to for something that will appear but was never (wisely) given a date. Folk just need to be more pragmatic. And sure if Frontier turn round and say "This feature we promised is not coming." Then sure, complain away. [up]

Actually, they have gotten in trouble for releasing updates too soon, most notably, the 2.3 update and multicrew. I rather wait yet longer but get something worth the wait than waiting less but receiving something that is effectively a derelict.

Being disappointed with FD for not giving hints about upcoming premium DLCs is completely justified. It's been a long time and FD being very careful as usual with signaling is overdoing it themselves.
That said all these legends how FD not gonna do anything, how they gonna leave ED, how it is all a scam, it is heartening at best because with all Beyond updates I see devs being very dedicated to make game better.
Sometimes - well, most of times - we are looking for confirmation for our emotions about something and to feel justified. It is not a bad trait but it is a bit vain one. Situations are complex. Sometimes people are just bad, but sometimes you feel bad about people because they have disappointed you and that's basically it.
That being said, FD is on borrowed time here. They have to come out with decisive explanation how things will move forward. Stretching it out to let's say next year will create more confusion and I think community team has understood that it is something they should address.
