Anthem

There are two yet to be released games which I surely won't touch even with a 60 feet pole, that's Destiny 3 Anthem and Ubisofts The Division 2.

Yeah, yeah, we get it. Games are like other games.

Point being EA is fashionably late to the party, but still trying to tap that sweet honeypot of multiplayer looter shooter. And yeah, it looks nice, but then again, it is Frostbite, it better damn does. Beyond that though, they haven't shown anything that would make this a Bioware game, or anything more then a mediocre stab at Destiny/Borderlands with Mechs.

They do seems to try to jump on mech/jet-pack vibe but even CoD realized that folks are a bit tired of this lately. From personal perspective I never was a big fan of the rwo myself and from what I can see the design of those mech suits is... not very inspiring to say at least. They should look how Warframe approach suit design, not Michael Bay :)

That is true. But it doesn't mean the game couldn't be fun. I am not big on multiplayer games, but I did enjoy both Borderlands games and even the Destiny. So I'm reserving my judgement until I actually try it.

What? What is with Warframe's suit design? There is nothing special about it! Not at all. And the tales that I have bought a Saryn cosmetic to have more unobstructed view to booty and legs is just that what it seems: Some fabrication of ill-willed minds!

Yes, it's just slander I tell you.. same as my Limbo Prime with his zorro hat >.>

Melee players. Fellow melee players! (Why is there no affectionate emoji?!)

OT: Anthem will not have a dedicated melee frame at the start. :(

I can live with that. In Firefall my frame of choice was the Mammoth Dreadnought frame. Carry a big chaingun, turn into a turret, and throw out a thunderdome shield to take on hordes of enemies :D

I'm close to MR 25 in Warframe, would have been 25 a while ago but i took a break from the game due to lack of time. That means i maxed almost everything. I also got and spent thousands of platinum on cosmetics so no secrets there also (because they say Fashionframe is the endgame).

I'm more intrigued by Anthem than Warframe because besides Kuva and high-end Rivens there's nothing to do in Warframe once you max and have everything (operator as well). That's the fault of a game which focuses on gear (and maxing it out).

While in Warframe you are stuck to some tilesets/maps, in Anthem you have an entire world to discover.
I just hope they make it right, with multiple weather locations and enough classes to play.
I suppose they can add stuff later but having to pick from only a few might get boring real fast.
They stated that players will spend a lot of time in the starting gear so that might suck.

The game has potential. Graphically is superb (land/water), i hope they won't downgrade it.
We will see if gameplay is good enough (or if they will work on / improve it in time).

That being said, FDev focusing on the stupid NPC (thargoid) fight drove some of us away. I'd rather have more player-to-player / PvP interaction.
They could add Leaderboards for everything (like mining per week/month), a PvP system, etc.

Instead all they do is thargoid this thargoid that. They are missing out on this, at least from my side.

I think you are reading too much marketing material from EA..."Whole world to explore". You will be disappointed.
