No official information on the continuation of the game after Q4? That is a fact ? Seriously ? Allow me to laugh a lot.

David Braben here clearly states : “We’ve got some amazing things to come in Elite Dangerous, which we haven’t talked about yet,” he says. “There’s also the ‘Beyond’ series of updates, which are lovely in their own right. We have a long future planned for Elite – it’s very exciting.”
You don't say that if the game is dying or the numbers are bad or you'll stop getting updates out for it. And he talks about Beyond in the second sentence, which means he's really talking about beyond Beyond in the first one.
And it's not the only interview where Frontier clearly says Elite is in a good shape, is cash-generative, and that they'll keep improving it in the future.
Still, yeah, it's easier to deny that the game just doesn't meet your expectations yet and that only fanboys could think Elite is doing well, since you are disappointed, everyone must be, of course.
Thank you for confirming that Frontier have been silent on what is coming after Q4.
When there is an indication of what is coming, then I'll believe that the future is bright, but at the moment there is nothing to go on either way other than the vaguest of assurances.
Maybe he's talking about 3.2 or 3.3, how do I know? I reread the article, there's clearly a future for elite, okay. But there is nothing very concrete, no road map, no clear project, no features announced. I'm not saying Elite is dead. I'm just saying we have no concrete information beyond Q4 and I have doubts about what's coming.

You're wondering what they're gonna do, ok, we all are. Still, the lack of roadmap isn't concerning at all.
Last year, they waited until october to unveil Beyond's roadmap and it's probably going to be the best series of update as of yet : Q1 was fantastic, Q2 for a tiny update was still full of lore and qol changes, Q3 is going to be even bigger than most expected... and Q4 is the biggest update of the year, Frontier said. It was also a way more precise roadmap that what we got for Horizons.
So, yeah, we're all waiting for more info, it may be frustrating to wait that long : we all want to know because we care a lot about the game... Yet, the fact they're not announcing things... just means that they think it's too soon to be sure of an exact list of what will be ready next year. Nothing more, nothing less.
But hey, people here can continue to say that the game is dying, getting abandoned or stuff like that if they want. They've been saying that every few weeks since launch anyway and yet, years later, the game is still active.

Regarding exploration I don't believe FD is able to stick the timelime with 3.3. Postponed no comment.
