New Haircuts, paintjobs and guardian stuff to grind bois!!!
Damn, i was sarcastic but nailed it...
You predicted 3.2 will have more Guardian stuff and paintjobs, like every Friday?
Wow, tell me more Nostradamus.

Lots of bug and probably perfectly working things will be broken (once again).
But lets ignore this and focus on the personal grindy narrative based on old, boring and tedious gameplay.
I guess PCGamesN is to Frontier is what Gamestar.de is to that other space game?
I am sure if there was, we would have a dozen threads whining about it in one way and another.I presume no mention was made of premium content?
No, PCGamesN don't appear to be promoting super-secret builds of a game, builds which are never released.I guess PCGamesN is to Frontier is what Gamestar.de is to that other space game?

Yes, of course it would be outrageous if explorers had to actually travel and explore to get things [wacky]. Maybe not Beagle Point, but Colonia would be fine for me. Let’s say only for G5 explorer tools - and you could engineer G1 to G4 in the Bubble. G4 is still very good - and G5 would only be for those who really wanted it. I think that would be cool and fair (but only for explorer tools!).

Emmmm...why? Other sites republish Frontier 'PR' releases as well. If you are looking for media criticising game development, these sites ain't it.

The problem is:
I paid for it yesterday; not much today; plenty of jam tomorrow.
Nope. Nothing about premium content, nothing about exploration, nothing about Q4 at all. Only information about 3.2 due next week.
If FD would do that, yes. Considering how careful they are with the information, if they intentionally would hint such thing, it would mean they are very confident to hit that target.
It will take time for ray tracing to take off, along with Vulkan API though it might change future of gaming. I doubt that's coming for ED any time soon though, because ray tracing will be better for FPS cinematic games, than games with huge rendering areas. ED will still be off better with 'trickery' required to make so many light sources to work.
I suspect the bit at the end of the presentation after phones were switched off was Q4 related.
?? You don't have to use any of the ships for combat if you don't want to, surely?
You've got to be honest haven't you, weps are low hanging development fruit because ulimately relatively straightforward, to change some stats and add a little bit of a model (actually not all that small if you include the projectile animation too). I'm not a huge pew fan either but I think it's fair enough work, while big ticket exploration probes and so on are in the works because you literally live and die by the guns (vesus shields). So I don't have any problem if designing weapons becomes second nature to FDev.
Also think it's quite cool from the point of view of developing culture aesthetics. Guardians are currently getting their 'look' defined and fleshed out a bit, which is something the other cultures (human and thargoids) also have, to a greater then lesser extent. I'm still a massive fan of the Thargoid designs particularly but the Guardian style is maybe harder to pin down. For me anyway. I think this update really interesting just for that.
