My prediction...it will have less shield and less speed than a challenger because of the fighter, and probably an extra hardpoint or maybe one huge one, along with armor values similar to the Challenger.
Well, since it has an SLF (which is sooo "useful and OP") it will probaly be nerfed to oblivion by the abundancy of small hardpoints and/or Type 9ish manuverability. Yay more storage ships for my modules!...

This in a nutshell. FDev's word from the Gamescom presentation was that the Crusader was intended as the middle ground between the Chieftain and Challenger, with the Challenger analgous to the Fed Gunship (which you can see in its hardpoints) while the Chieftain was similar to the Fed Dropship. There's your range, not hard to guess what the Crusader'll look like.

Probably drops a C3 hardpoint for a C2 and the Hangar bay, and converts the spare Class 6 internal slot of the Challenger into a Class 5.
