Ships Krait: "I'm lovin' it!"

Bought the Krait because it looked cool. No idea how big it was, looked like an Asp-ish size. Didn't spend any time on it until I unlocked the Gaurdian FSD booster yesterday and was trying it out on all sort of ships. Outfitted my Krait with engineered modules and am now jumping around the bubble at 54-55LY per jump, really awesome ship! It may have replaced my all-time favorite Asp Explorer as a go-to for gathering materials and doing tourist missions.

Plenty of module space, pretty good speed with Dirty Drives, great jump-range, pretty maneuvrable and it just looks really cool with the Gold Pharaoh paint job (probably because my Asp Ex always had that skin).

It is a grand ship. First thing to really get me out of the conda for long range trips. About 25,000ly out in one now. Ship kit is pretty good too.

Well you and your McKrait have fun. I’ve still not found a really good use for mine yet, though it does make a more imposing trash collector than my Asp Scout.

:D McKrait Let me check if there is a red & yellow paintjob

I too love the krait, unlocked guardian fsd boost yesterday, gonna take her for a spin, out where there are guardian spinney space things apparantly.

I could go in a different ship, but I wouldn’t feel as cool.

It is just very good ship. Feels at same iconic level as Cobra.

You know, this may be the nicest thing anyone can say about any ship. I'm still considering buying a new Cobra and oufitting and engineering the crap out of it. I already did so for Krait...

Krait IMO is not the best at anything but I love its mix of capabilities.

I liked the coffee machine. That was it. Sold it back after 10 minutes.

However, glad that many people seem to like it. I can understand how it would be good for VR.

Only ship I've managed to solo a Cyclops with.
450 boost (engineered), good jump range, loads of power for those guardian weapons, great armour and shields, fantastic manoeuvrability, SLF...what's not to like about it?

Have to say that any ship that nestles in between the Cobra MkIII and Python while retaining the versatility and ubiquity of those is just going to be awesome. And this definitely is.

Totally concur. Sold off my two medium combat ships. Chieftan and Fgs. Bought two Kraits, kitted and engied them. Very nice
