Jurassic park operation must come Genesis system

Please bring a limited amount of money to the island nublar, players can choose the island of their choice, set the desired money and park the option to come to the same jurassic park operation Genesis like

Possible improvement (in the future update)

Probably the main disadvantage at the moment is a very small territory. Please expand the territory or add a new island

The real sizes for Giga, Spino, rex, and Indominus!

So, I see Frontier are updating the sizes, but are they correct? Here are their sizes with length:
Giganotosaurus- 43 feet long
Tyrannosaurus- 40 feet long
Spinosaurus- 49 feet long
And Indominus rex- 50 feet long
Those are the true sizes of these 4 dangerous predators in Jurassic world evolution! Please consider this, since I spoke with the scientist of your team on fb.

Hi, I think a system much like Cities Skylines, with their props, would be awesome in this game. Were people could upload models from an in-game editor (like Cities Skylines) to make the park look better and more beautiful. Also, maybe adding more theme park like attraction (I know there is Planet Coaster), but maybe a 'fun sized' version, so you can still make the coasters, but in the style of how you can make fences and monorails- so not that diificult. But more family attractions/ fun rides. Also, like i mentioned with props more miniature props to make it seem like the park would be a good place to visit- Lights, benches, individual trees/bushes, planters, statues, scenic items? I would [heart] those stuff!

One thing that could be interesting that could also be a neat callback to the novels is add another modification slot to the genome options, I'd dub them Iterations.

Basically, it would allow alternate versions of some dinosaurs, essentially, they'd be the same species but with a very different look and, possibly, behavior.

The easiest to show would be to, say, have the Velociraptor. You're basic raptor is what we have now with all of its skins. Switch the iteration and you might have the JP3 raptors, or even specific ones for the Raptor Squad being available as options...or the ones from the Novel.

It could allow other things like the new version of the Spinosaurus...or some of the feathered looks.

Another thing that would be interesting could be to take the suggestion by Wu in the novels, namely go with the "classic" dinosaur looks, the tail dragging Rex, the quadrupedal Iguanadon and megalosaurus, and similar things.

Dino need to move in herds !

I just 5 starred all islands and the thing that annoys me the most (especially on isla sorna) is the fact that the dino won't stay in herds when then need to. I like big enclosures with lots of dino but I constantly have to tranq them and put them back in the same area for their comfort rate to stay high.
Plus, it would look a lot cooler for the dino to move in herds instead of them going on separate ways and, in the end, crushing fences because their social needs are not met ...

I am sure I am not the only one thinking this way but I wanted to add my vote to the thing I miss the most in this game ;)

I really love the game and I've managed to unlock and do a lot of things with it since I got it. To me it's been fun and challenging at least. I didn't find it overly difficult, but I think it's definitely a nice successor and upgrade to Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis. Part of me would love to see some sort of inclusion of the original Jurassic Park aesthetic in some ways. Things like the Explorers instead of Gyrospheres, the original Visitor's Center layout instead of the Innovation center, ways to do the holding pen, and a lot of stuff like that. Operation Genesis did a good job of doing that before. So marrying the games in terms of what kind of park you want to make creates more customization options. While I do wish there more building place I do like how you are building on a portion of the island, somehow it makes the game feel more real than anything. I know I'd like to see some of the other species cloned by InGen in this animals like Proceratosaurus, Herrerasaurus, and Segisaurus. Externally I'd love to see animals that got featured in external media like Troodon as well. Maybe basing it off of Jurassic Park: The Game's design by Telltale in some ways. I know I saw some really awesome fanart renders of animals like Herrerasaurus and Troodon featured in the game by Steamblust (artist's name) floating about on Facebook in the JP groups I'm in. I would love the inclusion of flying reptiles and even marine reptiles since they've been getting a bit more inclusion as well as smaller dinosaurs like Microceratus and Compsognathus. Skins wise I think it would be good to include more options, especially coming to the Raptors where you get a wider selection and skins the females had in the films. I would say male dinosaur skins, but the males were never really intended to be in the park, with exception to the limited breeding programs at the Jurassic World resort did while it was in operation. One minor gripe I have is that sometimes the large carnivores can and do stick their head through the concrete walls. I know I was driving outside of my Spinosaurus paddock and one of them had poked their head through without breaking anything. I love the game though and frankly I look forward to seeing what Frontier can do for it going forward. It really is a good Jurassic-game.

I'd also like to see the Ultrasaurus and Psittacosaurus along with the river tour from the Jurassic Park rides. Universal would probably even really like the idea if it could have something to point towards the theme parks as well since they've shown up there already with designs and they're upgrading those rides.

Breakouts should be more intense

I have a few points which would really improve the feeling of importance of preventing a breakout.

1. Become a hunter yourself
I haven’t seen this particular idea yet but I would love to see it. A way in which you could actively hunt down and sedate (or kill) escaped dinosaurs from a ground level. This would mean you could hunt down dinosaurs like muldoon. It would make it possible to hunt dinosaurs that are hiding in the trees (imagine tracking a raptor through the forest!!!) and it would also mean that dinosaurs could start hunting you which would be really awesome. It would also mean that the dinosaurs won’t immediatly start pouncing on the guests but they could instead choose to hide in the trees and just wait for the right moment to strike. This would make it necessary to hunt the dinosaur down yourself with the risc of dying. Shooting the dinosaurs from the helicopter is fun but you are invincible so you don’t fear being killed by the dinosaur.

2. Guest deaths should be a real event
It also doesn’t matter if the guests die right now since there is almost no penalty for a guest dying (you often don’t even notice it happening unless you see it happening). So right now when a dinosaur escapes it doesn’t feel incredibly dangerous or tense since you can’t die yourself and guests dying doesn’t matter either.

3. Better ways to prevent a breakout
Another thing that would really help is if you had more options to prevent guests from dying like a gate that goes over the paths so you could lockdown certain parts of the island (it would also look awesome to have a concrete wall right through your park to symbolise a more dangerous area).

3. B. Electricity should be more important.

Right now electric fences don’t help a lot in containing a dinosaur. Maybe electric fences could damage a dinosaur so that for example a dilophosaurus can’t break out of electrified heavy metal fencing on its own. This would mean that smaller dinosaurs have to break out together or not at all (it would look so cool to see a group of raptors try to break a fence). It would also mean that a dinosaur wouldn’t try to break out of an electrified fence if its health is below a certain point (it would be awful to see dinosaurs kill themselves on fences). This would create the ability to control breakouts a lot better. It would also make power outages really scary since it would mean that the dinosaurs could simply keep attacking the fence until it breaks.

3. B concrete walls

Smaller dinosaurs shouldn’t be able to break concrete walls. There should be some penalty to concrete walls since otherwise all enclosures holding smaller carnivores will be changed to concrete walls. Maybe concrete walls could make comfort levels drop if the enclosure is small or it could be a penalty for the visitors since it disrupts the idea of a natural habbitat. It shouldn’t be anything major but noticeable.

4. Raptors should become a unique dinosaur with its own security requirements

Raptors should be able to climb all unelectrified fences including concrete walls. It would give the raptors a really unique pressence in the game. They should also try to escape immediatly when the power goes out since they are so intelligent (so even if their comfort is fine they should try to escape). The raptors right now feel like any other carnivore but they should feel like a really unique part of the game.

5. Improved guest behaviour.

It is also annoying that right now there are always guests somewhere even if you opened all the shelters for a long time. The guests seem to spawn at random which reduces the feeling that each guest is unique and should be protected at all costs (since right now they aren’t individuals at all). I feel that the dinosaurs all feel like real individuals in your park but the guests feel like computer generated puppets. The interaction between humans and dinosaurs is what makes the jurassic park franchise so fantastic so I feel that the number one priority is that the guests should be improved. It would also feel more realistic if certain guests are groups (friend groups, families, couples) that way a group can react to a death of one of their groupmembers.

I'd also like to see the Ultrasaurus and Psittacosaurus along with the river tour from the Jurassic Park rides. Universal would probably even really like the idea if it could have something to point towards the theme parks as well since they've shown up there already with designs and they're upgrading those rides.

The Ultrasaurus used for Jurassic Park River Adventure/Jurassic Park: The Ride has kind of an interesting history to it and the article linked to is worth a read. Basically it mentions that the fossil was alleged to be the same dinosaur as what would be named Ultrasauros, but there was a mistake in the measurements. The one used for the JP Rides was the specimen that got renamed to Ultrasauros, which is actually Supersaurus. Supersaurus is basically a diplodicid where as the fictional depiction suggests the Ride animal in the same family as Camarasaurus and Brachiosaurus. It's a really wacky taxonomic history actually. A lot of cases fossils are incomplete and we only have the relatives of the animals to go off. In the Ultrasaurus case, people make mistakes as well. More when there's a lot more unknowns.

I'd love Psittacosaurus though to be included! It is a must-have in my mind. Along with the other missing animals.

1. I want to repeat my request for underground power cables (the substations can be above-ground). They are just too unsightly and annoying.
2. Invisible fences. The 2005 film references these invisible barriers existing.
3. Make all items available for sale in shops and restaurants. Since these are large shops, in real life you wouldn't be able to by only one type of item. The Clothes shop should sell more than just a hat, or just a shirt.
4. Repeat my request for additional buildings, such as an Imax-type theater or different types of viewing galleries.
5. A petting zoo. Since the dinosaurs incubate as fully grown, the dinosaurs in this attraction could be automatically there, sort of like free dinosaurs that you never need to worry about.
6. Bigger map. Isla Nublar is too small. And if an Aviary or Mosasaur are ever available, they would take up a significant amount of space,.
7. Larger Hotels. I shouldn't need 8 hotels for one island.
8. Walkthrough attractions, like the bamboo forest. This could count as a "fun" attraction to add to the bowling alley and arcade (and if ever added, Imax-type theater). You can only have so many bowling alleys inside a park.

We need elevated paths please!

Didn't you want to build the raptor enclosure like the one in the movie?
Or just being creative and build super personalized exhibits with higher walls and elevated paths on them all around the park?
Please Frontier, add elevated paths to the game.
Thank you!

While there is the history, JP/JW does have a history of maintaining otherwise obsolete names such as with the velociraptor being based on a short lived naming situation. The Ultrasaurus would fit in rather well along those lines with the oddity of it, which becomes even more unique since they behave more like hippos than other sauropods do...we only see the brachiosaurs wade through part of a lake (I've assumed it was more of just because it was easier to get a drink if they went to deeper water...)

Psittacosaurus would even be able to start with three different skins that are in JP stuff. You have 2 different looks from places with the ride along with the version from Dangerous Games.

Suggestion - Security Cameras

I don't believe this has been suggested before, but then again, there have been a LOT of suggestions for this game.

Security Cameras would be a great addition to the game and a great way to get almost-first-person visibility of the exhibits as well as sticking with the lore of the movies and the books. And I don't necessarily think it would be complicated to develop.

I'm thinking that they could be attached to sections of fence and allow you to monitor that section of the park with a 90 degree(?) visibility arc. Give it a b&w video camera-style visual and you add a new dimension to monitoring your exhibits. Security cameras could even improve you Security score. Another suggestion would be to add a page to the Park Center menu (or the Security Center) to allow you to view all cameras (and maybe even the much-anticipated monorail/ viewing gallery/ viewing tower cameras) at once, just like in the JP and JW movies.

Just watched the livestream. Splendid job, you guys!
Now give us some paid DLC :)

First, I loved the 1.4 update stream. I love the challenge mode addition, and that leads directly into my suggestion.

Challenge mode seems great, but can we get an island select for the challenge mode? Islands can be selected from any unlocked island in the game, and each one has a separate record for best completion time. I think this could add more life to the existing islands.

Can Pronating be disabled as a option in Jurassic World Evolution? Because in real life, Dinosaurs could not pronate and it would make dinosaurs look less weird. Thanks for reading, Frontier.

DLC - Map Editor/Island Editor
Hello Frontier!

Now that the free update is about to be released I think it's time to talk about the non-free stuff because you are professionals and you deserve to earn the fair amout of money for your time and your work.
I'm not here to ask for baby dinos or benches or trash cans or whatever people are asking for, NO.
I know, I'm annoying, and you might think, "Oh no, this guy again, asking for a map editor or island editor, Jesus!" The truth is that I love JWE so much that I want people playing it for many years to come just like JPOG, I want it to be bigger, greater.

-- "...more teeth" - Claire Dearing.

Like all map editors it should start with nothing but an empty terrain - genius, huh? ;D

We should be able to create, sandy beaches, mountains, valleys, rivers, lakes, waterfalls and so on!

Also be able to set the sea level and the rivers' water level. Would be awesome if we could have sea waves and river flows.

My point is to give people the freedom they need to create their own islands, there are very talented people out there and I can imagine them recreating the locations that we've seen in the Jurassic movies.

Speaking of the movies, two things should be added to the game in case a DLC like this became a reality.

1) a new vehicle, FERRY, controlled by AI; and

2) a new building, HARBOR

Then just like in the movie the Ferry brings people to the island.

One more thing and I will finish this, I promisse: The monorail arriving point and the huge Jurassic World gate positions should be set by the player.

I do not care if it will cost as twice as the core game, if you bring this to reality I will gladly pay for it, so, please, consider it for a new paid DLC.

My English is rusty so, please, do not pay atention for any typos.

Best regards,

Jonas
