Well unfortunately I'm parked 6000 LY's from the nearest 'paintshop', and seeing as they're time limited....

Yes, this is hitting the explorers and they are frequently the ones posting selfies of ships and selling the paint jobs.
Also, odd the way they've been marketed. When I opened the store this morning, I didn't see these. It was only this post that made me look deeper into the store.
I'm aware I can buy to spray later, but "time limited" don't sit well with me.
Also, yeah you learn nothing from "in-game". Everything is learnt on da forum, cuz itz cool 'n' stuffz [rolleyes]

After having looked at them in outfitting: I might have sprang for some of them if FD hadn't simultaneously made a very vacuous announcement that broke promises by postponing fleet carriers and ice worlds to after Q4, while being incredibly vague about what *will* be delivered.
So... has anyone confirmed if these work with ship kits?
At this point does anyone care?

Very happy with them. I feel like the biggest chump buying these given frontiers recent form though. In the past, these paints were worth it in exchange for the free / season patches released into the game. Until chapter 4 drops these are highway robbery. Balance and mutual respect isn't there anymore.

Wow, they look....beautiful. First time for long time I actually WANT to buy.
Honestly I've bought my fair share of skins in the past.
The reflective ones always look great in the store, but not so great in space. Don't stress that you're missing out too much.
Also not keen on the limited time only. It would be fine if it were a couple of skins, limited now and again is ok, but this is a silly amount with a time limit.
