Iridescent paint jobs In the store.[ENDED]

Why is none of these paintjobs available for the SRV??? This thing is already called Scarab and has six wheels, shouldn't we be able to make it look a bit more like a giant dung beetle?
That sir.... is a very good point. I think Frontier should quickly knock that one out !
I mean, you can’t go roaming the galaxy with a mismatched ship and SRV !

Flimley

I caved and bought all four for the Clipper. I found that they are visible from the cockpit on the canopy framework, which is a nice touch.

Sticking with slipstream for iEagle and Courier and galvanised for the Cutter (which I haven't unlocked yet).

A dung beetle by any other name would still smell as... would still look as iridescent. ;) Actually reminds me more of my Vulture than the SRV. But hey, might as well have it for those too, just not something I happen to be after.

sorry FDev. I've re-prioritized my DLC spending. rest assured that exciting quantities of money may be spent at a later day. this is really a positive for you as it means I can spend the money I was going to spend on paint jobs on other games which will encourage you to compete for my money.

Outside the US, people write dates sensibly :p
Oh yeah, forgot about that. Our way is right though, since we have more nuclear weapons than anyone else. :p

Damn, anyone else having issues during the payment process? I’ve tried buying a few of these twice now and just get errors.

Never had any trouble with the shop so far.

I also kinda love the paintjobs itself, just wouldn't wear any of them on a space ship... The effect is awesome and looks really, really good, especially on imperial ship designs. Thing is, I dislilke imperial ship designs because of their sports car status-symbol design. They are very well made, but my space ships are compact, less playful and best grey without any flashy colours. Classic. :D

You wish!

Am I the only one irked by Frontier's dropping of content, followed by amusing choice to meme the hell out of said update yet also noticing the iridescent paint jobs and having a bit of an existential crises over rewarding the reduction in Q4 content, by spending money in the store for annoyingly okay paint jobs?

Why. Why do they do this. It's unreasonable. I have resisted. But it is difficult.

yeah I had them in my cart...then I said to myself "self, what the hell are you thinking???" and closed the browser window. Sometimes you just have to let it go.

No soup for you FDev.

Though I hope for and have paid for much more, I still like the game for what it is. I got the Scorch paint job because I think it'd be a nice option for my Vulture for a glory lap and potential partial retirement for it after DW2, or if I ever get it Engineered the way I might want it. The Vulture kind of reminds me of a scarab anyway, so all the better. Getting the paint job wasn't reflective of my feelings toward Frontier's progress, or lack thereof. Perhaps it should have been, but it is what it is. The circumstances do seem somewhat ironic to me though.
