Along with a link to the store, lol. Promotion wherever they can, I suppose. After all, those impulsive souls among us are more likely to hit that store "buy now" button when they stumble across that one skin they just must have (among the guilty).

In-game purchases and links don't do it for me, nor will I even let them work on my computer just as part of normal security. Can't even use links from the launcher. Nice having the previews in outfitting at least though, even though it can be a bit of a hassle at times wading though them to get to something.

I think all the iridescent paint jobs look pretty nice on the ships. Just seeing them from the store thumbnails does not do them justice at all. Also, if you do have the Courier, you can preview these paint jobs in the livery, even if you haven't bought them, yet (though that will probably disappear for these particular paint jobs once they are no longer available on the store).

This post is directly responsible for costing me £3, for a paintjob, for a ship I don't even have the reputation to buy :p.
But damn it's a nice ship, and a beautiful paintjob :D.

Dont worry, I too have purchased paints for ships I haven’t owned. Although, the Cobra MkIV was a bit, ummm, duff.

It stays complicated.
The paint shop looks great on the Alliance ships (many facets, just as WR3ND recommended) - but I somehow don't like the ships.
The Krait looks awesome, too - but there is the nice "Pharao" collection, which is also cheaper.
And while I get the idea that all colors are visible on rounded surfaces at the same time, the rotating Clipper doesn't convince me (but I like the purple variant least so my judgement is biased.)

Thats the very best example I have seen so far. He manages to show all three colours at once with clarity.

Absolutely - I now have no issues with paying out 1 gazillion Cr to outfit a Cutter... :D I mean - if you've bought the paint you gotta buy the house - right? Shiny times ahead...

Welp, I tried my best, but the Frontier store just doesn’t want to play ball. Managed to get a few before it started acting up.
