General / Off-Topic Destiny 2 is garbage

I assumed he had BF2 access on the ps2 which I found odd but he must of been talking about some sort of PC access obviously now.

I mostly just treat everywhere on the forums as the same place (except the exploration forum)

I wouldve replied the same way in Xbox, DD, JWE even Lore and rp... probly :D

sorry to cause confusion lol

cough pc masterrace has sw bf2 servers up cough :p

Oh no It's the pc master race invasion on the harmless dead ps4 offtopic forum.

I started downloading it because it's free, but my Internet is not so fast, so I paused it (it's a huge game). I'm curious if others feel the same way as OP. I already have Star Wars Battlefront - is Destiny similar to this or something totally different?

My opinion: Destiny 1 and 2 are best when played with friends. Both games are a lot of fun, but if you're going solo I would suggest opting for a proper solo game.

We PS4 minions can't play [sw bf2]. (although my PC probably would run it). :)

Okay, now I am confused. I read SW BF2 as "Star Wars Battlefront 2" which I've played plenty on my PS4, so either your abbreviation means something else or some other detail as gone right over my head.

There are two SWB2 games. We're talking about the original made by Pandemic, way back in the noughties. It was a PS2 era game.

Unless you plan on playing with friends and intend on doing the raids / are big into PvP then it's probably best to stay off that grind train.

The campaign and other activities aimed at single players are fun but they're short, grindy and the story tends to be a mess. Destiny shines strongest in the group activities but Bungie refuse to add matchmaking for most of those which means that a lot of people never get to experience them.

So if you have an active group of friends that play and they want to do the same activities as you then give it a shot. Otherwise be prepared to quickly hit the limits of solo play and feel like you're not getting half of the game you paid for.

I've played the PS+ version which is the base game and quite enjoyed it, Forsaken has been likened to The Taken King expansion for D1 and I enjoyed that and found a relaxed clan to play with. Will see, it will come down in price, that's for sure. Warframe still keeps drawing me back, such an underrated game.

Well if you do then just make sure that you choose the correct class a.k.a Titan class.

Actually got round to playing this the other day.

Just confusing, mindless shooty stuff.

Maybe if I had given it more time but it just seemed so linear and 1 d.
