Who's looking forward to Beyond Chapter 4?

Yes, I'm looking forward to it. It's free, it sounds interesting, the folks who got a sneak peek last week love it. What's not to like?

I wasn't but after watching Obsidian Ant's recent video I am a lot happier, I think in practice the one thing or QoL feature I really hope made the cut is a solution to long distance travel boredom i.e. its either infinately more interesting or faster as a result of the Q4 update

I'm defo looking forward to it, cautiously optimistic it'll bring me back to the game to the same levels I played in the first 6 months (which was most of my spare time).

Hmmm, I wouldn't get your hopes too high for that. If you're simply travelling from A to B then I don't think there's much in Q4 to make that both more engaging AND faster. The time it takes to get from A to B will remain largely the same if you honk and go or will be slower but more engaging through the use of the new ADS interface (and with new things to see). It won't be both tho.

I'll take interesting or faster, I simply can't tolerate the jump in > honk > scoop once in a while > jump out more than about 7 times in a row. If it turns out we get jump in > new scan gameplay > oh that looks interesting > go take a look > go do something other than take pictures > jump out every so often then that could work. Difficult to pull off though because if it ends up being repetitive then the interest will dry up faster than spilt beer at an AA meeting.
