Exploration is the major part of Elite and I, too, tend to believe that explorers are a majority. A very silent majority. Honking away in some god-forgotten corner of the galaxy.

Have you noticed that FDev always said No Legs and No Atmo Landings in Beyonds but they never saud No Gas Giants??? These clouds and lightning could be used also for gas giants...!!!

I'm heading for a distant patch of space now. So I can test exploration outside of the bubble. As will many others, I guess. I will report any bugs I find. Beyond that nothing.
I do have one problem though, to do with my internet and disconnections. But I will put that into the appropriate new thread. It has a lot to do with 4G and 5G connections and a problem I have encountered with this technology so I hope the dev team can look out for it.

Betas normally start you at a point in the game from a few weeks back.
Hype hype, no that's a role mechanic addition to the hud. Just like when we got crew between our legs, I do not think ship huds are changing, I think they are adding stuff to it for role mechanics.

Yeah, that makes sense and all, but NAH the traffic is due to excited explorers!
The viewing numbers for the livestream on Thursday should be very interesting.
So basically mining involves blowing stuff up. That's good. Blowing stuff up is objectively better than not blowing stuff up, in the great majority of cases.
