It was the best VR game when it add support for VR but after spend some hours this weekend the game is out for me. I have uninstall it.

- Fly trough any system is tedious. It has no sense. You spend hours and hours flying around any system where planets are about 10 minutes away in many cases.
- Refuel is terrible, the speed of refueling is horrible.
- Missions ended stupidly when you aproach a hub and suddenly witthout any second to react you are hit down. Do not understand at all. No time to negotiate a bill or something, just hundreds of shots firing at you and you are end after four or five hours flying around to try to end an eternal mission.

Horrible boring. The game has ended for me. It is a pity because I love the VR support but I cant suffer anymore the slowness of this game, and in VR a game must be minutes, not hours.

Bye bye Elite. Let's try another things.

But you may want to try not flying to distant planets if you can avoid it (some missions don't let you, but most tell you the distance in Ls)

Refueling is as fast as your fuel scoop. Too slow? Fit a bigger and better one. And make sure you're scooping at maximum rate.

If you're getting shot down as you approach a starport, then you're either a) being interdicted by a pirate. Or b) being shot as by security and/or the station for carrying a wanted criminal.

I'll have your VR stuff!

Not sure how long the OP has been playing ED, but the wording of his post suggests that it has not been long.

I and many others have been playing ED for years and, for me, there are still things I have not seen or tried. No, I not saying ED is perfect, just that the OP's post is not an accurate critique of the game.

That being said, ED is not for everyone and, it seems, definitely not for the OP so respect his decision to move one. Probably no point in telling us, but cheers anyway.

Waited almost 4 years to figured out what kind of game this is? Well.....thanks for stopping by anyway. Good information through out the post.

OP: the replies here tell the story. It's probably better to just move along as the fan community is pretty sour and hateful. Elite used to be really good in it's early days but has progressed into what we have today which many like and many others do not. But from the start Elite has been full of time-wasters as in features or mechanics that simply take a lot of time to accomplish for no good reason other than to appear as 'content' or 'gameplay'. This has been Elite since shortly after launch.
