1,000,000 Ly or 1,000,000 systems visited

I'm curious if any of you have traveled 1,000,000 Ly total distance; or if any of you have visited 1,000,000 unique systems - unique in that you didn't visit the same system twice.

Respectfully,
Tim

1,000,000 systems no one has. It would take 2 years of non-stop jumping to do such number.

A million ly's is not that big of a deal. I'm closing in on that now.
However a million systems is a different story. That's a big number.. I'm @ 42,200 ish total.

Allitnil would likely have the most.
but even I'd be surprised if he had more than 200k.

Is there any list of CMDR with more than 12 MM driven or, even better, a list where that distance is in ls instead MM?

So far I think Allitnil is the only one with ls on that counter.

Don't remember names off hand, but I have screen shots with others driven into the ls territory.

1 mil LY. Plenty of commanders have done that.

1 mil systems. No. No one has done that yet.

Nah, I doubt anyone will reach 1m systems for any one individual. Not even Allitnil.

1m ly is not unusual, I don't think. I started ED pretty late compared to a lot of people - April 3302 - and I've done 1.3m and 34,000+ systems. (Only 3.3mm driven, though.)

Hm, I got 1.558.479LY under my belt - but just 24.907 Systems in comparison.

I'd guess that even seasoned and extremely dedicated Explorers may have maybe 100.000-150.000 Systems visited by now. That'd be quite alot.

1 million systems. Even with 1 minute on average per system (including jump), that's 41,666 hours. That's 1736 days. Or 4.7 years, in TOTAL play time. Not just hanging around, but 24x7, average of 1 minute per jump day, night, for 4.7 years. Did I get this right?

Yeah, uh...obviously I didn't even stop to consider how long 1,000,000 systems would take. I just did that a few minutes ago using my daily average of 100 systems per night. I can do it in about 27 years - easy! (j/k).

But thanks for posting that link to commanders over 10,000 systems. That's kinda cool.

Something to work towards.
I got my last 400k ly during the Dead End's Circumnavigation Expedition that took 12 months. I'm sure it can be done faster though. :)

Consider this: for someone to reach "more than 1,000,000 systems visited" before they reach "1,000,000 LYs travelled", they would need to be flying through an area of space where the average distance between stars is less than 1 light-year. In most parts of the galaxy outside of the Galactic Core, the average distance is much, much more than 1 LY. So pretty much everybody will reach the 1,000,000 LY milestone before the 1,000,000 systems one.
