With the release date, being the 11th.... this is a concern!

Just checked the bug forum and this is the answer on a lot of the bug reports....Really FD:(

Definitely doomed!

Well... or just normal management of bug report processing when there's too much input at once. Nah! Must be DOOM! ...

How is this different from usual? And you haven't quit yet OP :)

Every new release some get 'worried' that all the 'bugs' won't be fixed. Every release FDev ship once (most of) the crashes are fixed. Every release goes ok. Circle of life :D

Unless it's a game breaking bug (as in, actually stops you playing the game, not just makes a part of it not work right) then it won't hold the release date.

Simple stuff.

I really feel for support, the amount of rubbish they have to sift through to get to genuine bug reports... Must be a frikin nightmare. I ran a closed beta for a software company and that was bad enough, Open beta's are full of clueless people clogging up the support system, and every ticket has to be checked and read.

Yea just like the landing pad issue that has been there for the last year and a half, and the wing issues with the Thargoids etc.... not game breaking but annoying as hell, but then again we only pay for the game to enjoy it!
minor details!

Hey OP - why not start a new thread titled: "FDev should delay the 3.3 release until 2019 for these bugs". Then list the ones you think must be fixed before 3.3 ships, and let battle commence. It would be interesting to know the bugs you think worth the delay, and see if FDev agree (as we'll know next week).

Annoying as hell? Not sure I even know which landing pad issue you mean ... and you say it's been around 18 months - hmmmm

Probably pads assigned to you being blocked by an NPC. It is really annoying in busy star ports in a big ship.

Bugs that are rare occuring and therefor difficult to reproduce must be tough to track down. I know others have had this happen to them, but I have never had it happen to me.

I'm sure there are a lot of bugs like that.

Do you imagine that's a simple coding bug that a dev just needs to locate and edit? Or is it maybe a complicated issue with instancing that isn't simple to fix with the current networking architecture?

Hehe, yea. I've had this answer on almost any of the bug reports I wrote. Only some of my bug reports were not read yet and thus have no answer yet. :D
