got tp ask a question though... if they are camped out across the sun or station...how do you fly that avoids interdiction? without going ages and ages around?

But how good are you?I've seen the rebuy screen enough times to think they are better than me lol

Wrong. Many of the times I failed, it was within such a short time that the only thing I learned is that these situations are completely hopeless. How can I git gud if I'm looking at a rebuy before I can even blink, no matter how much I try to improve? But how good are you?
I bet every time you try, win or lose, you get better.
Problem is that your aggressors do this many times a day. The ONLY way to "git gud" as they put it, is to become one of them. Any other style of play will never get the same practice. It's a shame, but it's how it is.
In the end, if you're in open and you're passive... then you're prey.
It's a hard lesson, but if you dislike being someone else's content, then open mode is not for you.

Fly casual... But not too casual.
Tbh most of them aren't nearly as good as they think they are.
only two pvp situations I want.
fly with me in the cg's.
having the griefers disappear behind me has the jump clock goes down...
solo and mobius... no thank you.
I have my own private group and theres whopping 3 ppl in it (me included) we dont do pvp but some times "accidents" happen ;}

Freudian Ship ?Freudian slip.
We need engineered NPC ships back. Or at the very least, have higher ranked NPCs, starting from Master/Dangerous up to Elite to actually be what their ranks suggest. As of now, even Elite NPC's seem much easier to kill than "Harmless" NPCs, which is bullocks imoPersonally I think the random murder hobos add a little much needed spice to the game.
No single NPC is of any real concern for me. Or wing for that matter....
My main thought during an NPC interdiction is "can I be bothered to deploy hardpoints or not...?". Lol
Having a technically superior player and/or ship chase me down, adds a much needed thrill to the game.
Admittedly, I nearly always escape, because I simply don't have the ship or PvP knowledge to fight back in any manner other than suicidal, but it's still a bit of fun.
The last time PvE was as exciting, was during the Robigo long range smuggling days.
Of course, victory back then was earning tens or hundreds of millions in credits.
Victory in PvP is simply not dying a horrible death.
That said, having some ATR jump in, in an appropriate time, and force, would help tip the balance, so I'd be more likely to fight back, than just jump out.
Sadly, "submit and high wake" is such a habit these days, I'd probably be half way across the bubble before realising I didn't need run anymore... Lol
Freudian Ship ?
git gud isn't an option when a t10 costs up to 27,000,000 to rebuy, my corvette, 21,000,000. how many wads like that you going to lose?
go solo...that's back to vanilla.
seems to me, that without them, once you get up to the higher rankings of the game, the game is vanilla.
the griefers will say "git gud. fight back" "go solo"

what I would like to see is a much more aggressive police response. that way, I know I only have to hold the attacker off for a certain amount of time before the fur really starts to fly.
I've tried that tactic as the response is now, didn't work.
no, I think the answer for me, is RUN.
