- play
- cannot connect to any server, your launcher is too new (

?)
- exit
- update the client
- play
- attempt to log in, failCount=11
- I quit at 12 failed
- ED connects (hehe, threaten a bit and suddenly things go)
- pick mode, see orange ship rotating
- cannot connect / verify save / other crap
- quit due to IRL
- 1.5 hr break
- launch launcher, server issues detected
- play
- log in, pick mode
- cannot connect
- oh well, day 1 issues, as usual in those cases of big and expected patches. Every mmo game I played over the years had those
- go sleep, will try tomorrow.
Official apology? For what? I can name one occasion in which such launch went smooth, and it was first one in ~10 years of that title. Step down from your cloud. FDEVs are now working hard to resolve the situation, after that we may get some follow up info with generic apology. An apology that doesn't change anything really. Good that you didn't ask for a material apology (like ship skin or whatever). Some devs did such things when launched failed miserably. Yesterday patch launch? Just some issues.
