My bet would be that the scare factor will come from the random pop-ups prompting you to buy alien egg premium currency to continue hiding in the closet.

Sadly that is about the only place any sane gamer with a PC or console sitting in his room would even consider playing a mobile game.

Whales and microtransactions.

I roughly priced up the squad that a guy who I fought against on Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes recently.

They'd easily spent £500+ on the game to have the squad they were using against fremium players like me.

Sadly not, as these games are all stats based with little player interaction.

This isnt like the early days of F2P whale hunting games like Battlestar Galactica Online, where with a little tactics, common sense and teamplay you could bag a whale player, or possibly a whole pod.

Three words: China, Japan, Korea
Mobile gaming is a huge market over there, a billion dolllar market.
What do you think why Activision-Blizzard bought the Candy Crush Developer King for almost 6 billion dollars back in 2015?
Mobile Gaming in Asia is like the California Gold Rush for Game Dev's. Sad but true.

Played Plants vs Zombies, mobile crashed hard. Now I don't play mobile games anymore.
