Bugs, bugs, bugs, bugs so what does FDev fix? USS farming.

As a potential salt avoidance tactic by an already salt blasted games development company , it would make perfect sense to do it in this way to some.

If one believes in conspiracies, and believe FD is stupid, then sure. Because they would 1) have to be stupid enough to accidentally come to here and reddit and tell us there was a bug they would fix even though we are supposed not to find out, 2) think noone would ever found it they changed anything if they didnt mention it again, 3) care very much about the rantings of some angry 'space game enthousiasts' so they would 'secretly' change it instead of just saying so (which they did, but hey), 4) yet dont care enough to simply not do it.

Angry people may add their own fantasy interpretation to the list of things to be angry about, if they prefer. It seems a bit... pointless though.

OK, sorry it just seemed like that. I appreciate you don't know me very well, but I'm not known for making sweeping generalizations or not knowing what I'm saying. I promise you we have enough data to confirm that something has DRASTICALLY changed.

I can confirm that this is mostly true, but there's a Dr. Ashen and a Mr. Fox. One of them is how you describe it, but at some times the other one takes over. And he's very impulsive and easy to anger. :D

On the thread itself: considering the FD already stated USS farming to be a bug and problem, i am mostly surprised that they waited this long to fix it. It was to be expected, no matter if they put it in the patch notes or forgot to do so.

A less frequent spawn rate of HGEs on the other hand indeed can be annoying. The question to ask there is: was it intentional? I mean, we recently reported a number of bugs and also logical problems with USSes, faction states, etc. I would expect that some more bugfixes (also not necessarily in the patch notes) were done there.

So the real question at the moment would be: if HGEs now spawn more rarely, is that intentional? Or perhaps a new bug? And what other bugfixes were done there or should be expected soon?

Wait, what? So FD did what they announced here and elsewhere they would do? The sneaky s! Thank god your research uncovered their secret plot to do what they explicitly told us they would do. [haha]

I never claimed there was a plot of any kind. Hundreds if not thousands of players were finally enjoying mining and making some money doing it. So, of course, FDev nerfed it. Simple. I do not have to like it.

No I expect he means because it has not been mentioned in the patch notes, that makes it a stealth nerf in my book too. The fact that we were expecting it to be fixed at some point is neither here nor there imo.

Plus: it's not just the abrasion blaster that has been fixed, the initial motherlode has also been reduced by about 40%.you now get 12 to 15t per roid, which if you ask me is fine, but again has been mentioned nowhere.

12-15 is not much different from what I was getting before... A low load was 10 fragments and a high yield was 20... I was raking in nearly 70-80M Cr PER HOUR in a fracking CMK4... Utterly ridiculous.
Last Friday (?), there was a station orbiting the same planet 0.8Ls outside the ring that had a Vopal hotspot and they were buying for 1,6MCr.
Because there was no hyperspace involved, my earnings were over 100MCr per hour that day.

In two days I was at nearly 1BCr using only my Cobra...

Broken game is broken, even with no AB exploit. Fixing a bug is not a nerf, it's a bug-fix... And abusing the multiple fragement bug is not an "exploit," it's an exploit.

Dont you get it? It means we can only get one conda instead of four per evening. This is . FD dont respect my time if I dont get a fleet of condas per week. Anything else is a grind. A grind! A GRIND!

If someone wants a fleet of Anacondas, why not? If that is how they want to play, what's the problem? Why do you care if someone has 40 Anacondas? They can still only fly one at a time.

Haha, I like it. :) Mr Fox isn't that bad! He's just misunderstood. ;)

Despicable.... Only one? I bet you can't even fully A rate it in a day anymore...
And what did they say, "WE VALUE YOUR TIME"

FDEV have no shame...
