I didn't think it would be available seeing as I wasn't allowed it when I signed up for the forums. I had other ideas but thought they'd be even more likely to be taken, so happy enough that one made it through.

'Vandesterren', literally 'of the stars' (in dutch). Whereby 'van de sterren' the correct spelling would be. 'Van de' is a perfectly normal part of dutch last names.
I'm a dutchman, but not living in NL :smilie:

Got both my first choice Commander and NPC names. There's a serious benefit to having an unusual name.... sometimes....
So look out for Commander Snoswell running away from any mahoosive dogfights this time next year....
Dave Shannon was also one of the key players in the Dambusters Raid in May 1943.. He went on to become a key part in 617 Squadron's exploits for the remainder of the war. A good name to have Sirrr

Forgive the numpty question here but am I correct in thinking that, in the web app, if there is a little thumbs-up icon that says approved when you hover over it that your chosen commander name has indeed been approved and is yours to use ?
