I think some people perceive celebrities as something akin to extended family, what happens to them is closer than what happens to some stranger.
I still have the feeling that the rogue-AI story is somehow related to this.
But chances are that the Thargoids or shady humans are experimenting again.

Before we were not able to focus on what is going on due to lack of spectrum in this case.
Now we have something solid. In order to find the truth about this event we need to repeat the steps accurately.
The matching ship type affects the results so we must also use the same ship as those that are being attacked.
We do have historical evidence of 3 systems that have had adoptions in the past.
These are: Sol, Bedaho and Lave. - Since there is no accurate information where the latest public information happened,
we will just go along with the history.
It does not seem to be a big catch, but if we consider these to be Thargoids that attack the ship, then we must also take flights around Maya system.
This also includes the systems that have reported Thargoid Activity. But, in fact this is just to test if these events have anything to do with Thargoids or not.
We are also not sure how engineering of the ship affects the contacts. But yes indeed, this is not new behavior at all.
We need passengers and slaves on board the ships to get attention from the attackers.
It seems that this is not the first time it happened, but it was one of the many.
The case got over threshold level of attention due to the target which got attacked.
So... In order to toggle this problem...
Let's bash the problem in and go fly out there with the matching ships full of passengers.
Don't do this alone, we need to have beacons on all the time.

Skyglow Havens on the Rhea Archipelago is an interesting place to hide. No communications facilities there and quite the exclusive resort. It's also where the literary agent of Olav Redcourt goes on holiday - there are some interesting parallels between his disappearance and Consuela Knight's (see Galnet 17th Nov 3304).

Olav Redcourt was a writer who suddenly went missing and then after a week his literary agent claims he's just gone to a remote outpost (not named) and is OK and working on a new novel. And has sold all his stuff to pay debts he owed. The explanation was accepted without challenge, just as with an unnamed reporter claiming to have found this 'Consuela Knight' with a 'false identity' at Skyglow Havens.

It's probably worth investigating. Remember Halsey was "likely in hiding" til she was found stuck in an escape pod, which led to Guardians. Even if it IS true, the story is PLAYER DRIVEN so if we let leads go wasted we may never see new story.

I went out investigating the disappearance stories from Maia and found the Feds trying to suppress Tharg knowledge (Disress calls that popped you in a star or groups waiting to merc you) and was an early Cyclops hunter so I have my rule to investigate validity in person. Which I have done for Rhea. I found Fed forces had moved several Cap Ships into Rhea. I do not think it's correlated to Consuela, however (Feds have been mobilizing CS lately). That is for now my official report, as I've more important cases to hunt, IE trying to track down the DW and Raxxla connections, which has all my attention for now. There are no suppression groups I saw, at least if they're there they no longer identify in the old S pattern, or maybe I missed them. Still trying to get into the Suppression group's HQ, as of RN I know of no one who has entered, probably devlocked.
However if it is related, she's being "Debriefed" in Outlook, and if it's anything like Zeta, she's been "evacuated" out of an airlock. Into space with no suit of course.
It's almost as if it was entirely predictable.
