Silly corvette build

Here's my silly vette build.

https://s.orbis.zone/240i

Made 2 billion last week pirating NPC miners for low temp diamonds. The worst they managed to do was take one ring off the shield while I sat there popping hatch breaker limpits. So silly i am still laughing ! I got three of these now, PVE piracy , PVE combat , PVE popping up the shops for a pint of milk. I am far too rich for module swapping ;) (and they all have DCs, couldn't find a chauffeur)

I like this build.

Please note if you fly in open, many gankers consider the presence of a docking computer on a corvette more motivation than a billion credit bounty to kill you. I could easily see someone post on the PS4 discord "yo this dude has a DC on his vette" and like 7 gankers with anger issues who normally hate each other unite just to blow you up as violently as possible.

This points to a level of psychopathy that I had never suspected might lurk even in the darkest corners of the dimmest minds in gaming.

Is that really so? If yes, what do you reckon the players involved do for relaxation? Bite their own toes off?

I eventually made it a hybrid shield hulltank, but because it was such a large target that was a non starter too.

So, sadly, after lots of fun I simply made my Corvette as others do- although ED gives you the tools to have fun and made each ship individual at the same time each ship still has an 'ideal' configuration that it can't live outside.

My hybrid corvette confounds a lot of people and works pretty well, all things considered.

It's not made to fight other large ships, but I still win against 'ideal' configurations more often than not. It did take almost 1500 hours of trial and error over the course of two years for me to get it where I wanted it and to learn how to fly it properly though.

Is that really so?

A docking computer is often better than an interdictor at starting a fight.

Neither I nor my CMDR consider it cause to attack someone, but using it as anything other than bait tends to imply profound laziness or piloting incompetence...and those are bad traits to project if you are trying to avoid a confrontation.

Charge Enhanced is the best distributor mod. By a huge margin.

Pa's are up to you, I've known folk to run both OC and Eff', even a few who use long range. Dispersal and TLB are the standard here.

But most importantly, make sure your SCB's are in the C7's along with a Prismo. You'll get a far longer uptime with those than with the Bi-weave.

Are Pirate Abe Lincoln and Pirate Rebel Yell supposed to be friends or enemies? :D

I suspect you might be more about the Billy Idol song or maybe the bourbon, and less about the Confederacy...

but in any case I think it'll all work out OK ;-)

'ay! Gentlemen 'o fortune drink rum :D so ya be right with the song :)

...................I'd sell my soul for you, babe
For money to burn for you
I'd give you all, and have none, babe
Justa, justa, justa, justa to have you here by me........

I dont actually fly that btw :)

Of course, I just assumed anyone with knowledge to build that would have better sense than actually fly it.

I really do fly around my build with 10 docking computers though, they all run linux or FreeBSD because I haxored the pilots federation landing codes ;-)

I've bolded the major factor, and underlined the minor factor, in terms of what dictates how most encounters usually go down. Re docking computer, seems we've come to the same conclusion :)

They blow ships up. Thought that was obvious.

I doubt any are cannibals. Some seem nice, some are not.
