For the past 2 days, I have been getting this message: "The Frontier Auth Service is currently not available, please try again later." Is anyone else having this problem?

delete the token assigned to you account on there server... with this URL
https://www.edsm.net/en/settings/import/capi/sub/resetToken
then refresh the web page and repair the account..

I'm logging on every night for my routine flights - not an issue for me. I guess this is one of those 'affect some not all' issues again. Hope it gets sorted soon.
yep Its only selected people and only EDSM the same people go to Inara and have no issues but that does not use an automated script...
You can be using firefox with issues then go to chrome and then it instantly will work on chrome and then work on firefox instantly after using it on chrome... Then if fails again on firefox and then fails on chrome so then you use silk on your tablet and then firefox works again micro seconds after you login on silk (silk is the fire 7 inch native tablet browser, just in case any one reading has never used a fire Os device..)
nope, that doesn't even make sensethe website has of course its own address, yours is unrelated, and none of them are relevant in this scenario, i guess it works like this:
My bad - I meant to say "web browser", in that accessing the site from a mobile phone would show me at a different IP address than my PS4 accessing Frontier via my ISP.
Also a Reminder Its also been updated to the transfer Materials data stats now so there is more to break per user now...

I like getting emails for the EDSM badge notifications.
This weekend I got one letting me know I'd played 1,000 hours. That was a nice surprise. I hadn't even been keeping tabs on my playing time, glad I didn't miss that milestone.

Yep EDSM is used as a beta for new data tranfser first for consoles data info...
Inara will only add it when it is proven not to be a buggy mess, so inara does not have items data transfer yet, its still manual so no way im doing it manualy, after using items to make new ammo...
I guess the CMDR's Log, will be pointless so with the EDSM functionality and eventually Inara (which I am really hoping for, I do all my Engineering there). Regardless of what website, this is a remarkable improvement for all us console players, as now the Galaxy AND information is now truly shared.

Hopefully It will soon work in web browsers in the back ground and not time out due to the back ground tasks being killed by modern browser...
Current solution is to run them as web apps that way you don't kill them with the browser shut down
