I don't understand that they think we will repair it because all the years they learned us you are not a hero (...)
I care only enough to comment that I don't care.Lots of work has been carried out by many groups to stop the destruction of stations and to reverse that damage. Unfortunately, FDEV don't seem to be able to differentiate between the amount of players available before DW2 and who is left around right now. It's looking bad, but it's never been a lost cause.
If nobody cared, trust me - there would be lot more stations in peril.
You might say you don't care, but you care enough to comment. Odd that. But it's not new. Since we all started over a year ago, the same comments were thrown out there. But clearly, people still cared. Quite a lot actually.
The Pleiades is almost repaired. This is the area dear to the hearts of Operation Ida. We were born there and it's the most challenging considering we have to bring a lot of commodities from the bubble. We haven't ever quit, despite the odds against us. We even have to deal with deliveries going missing... yet still we plod on. Often we don't make much money. Sometimes we even lose it. But we still do the right thing. And we enjoy it.
The bubble will be next. Station repair will speed up. 1 or 2 jumps to grab commodities is a big improvement for us dedicated to the cause. We will continue to rely on our many allies to slow down the destruction. That's all we can do.
We've made a lot of friends, had a great time - and we'll continue to do what we do best. You're welcome to join us anytime.

The whole situation was strange, because they've asked for help to rescue the starports stuff, but on the other side, all stored ships had been brought to a megaship 5kms outside.
Come on FD, let us loose some stuff. Let some starports be destoyed, with all ships inside. This would make it much more intensive and challenging.

And you know the main response I saw when attacks started happening?
"System X is where I store all my ships, they better be ok or I'm rage-quitting this game, how dare they!"
Still see people posting this every so often.
You bet I would. That fleet is literally years of time spent building it. Getting that all wiped out would be more than enough reason to quit. I could probably accept everything being destroyed, but being able to rebuy it all. It would hurt, 400 million is a lot, but it would not be a reset to ground zero.

Yeah, I realise on review I didn't make it clear that I agree with the posters. Losing all the engineering time would not be fun. Much like when people suggest burning the bubble - that's something that's fun - unless it happens to you.
No, it would make it annoying. Not everyone plays every day or tracks everything obsessively.
Imagine you have all your ships at a single station, then through no fault of your own, just because of the hand of FD or RNG, you login one day to discover all your ships are gone.
That would be absoloutely terrible gameplay.
My dad told my a story that during one of his many holidays at the Queens lesuire it was sewing and unstiching mail bags.![]()

Commenting with a negative remark demonstrates that you've had enough.
I've always thought Operation Ida was on a road to nowhere, and it looks like that is very much the case. Stations are burning up faster than you folks can repair them. And when you repair a station, there is NOTHING to say they won't come back and do it again. I'd consider that a punch in the crotch. And one of the things about getting punched in the crotch is that you avoid what causes getting punched in the crotch.![]()
