No water rides (log flume, rafts, etc) at launch?

Now if we can aim for something like the above in Planet Coaster, it will be brilliant!

Brilliant indeed, and fantastic too. Nice waterfalls! I like the scenery of that picture.

I think we'll have those river rapids eventually. They are a key part in a lot of theme parks, and were present in RCT 1, 2 and 3.

Wow....did not remember the RCT3 version being that bad- but I was never much of a fan of that sequel anyways. RCT1+2(vanilla) all the way.
The level of realism dropped tremendously..... I can barely notice the rapids... it really does look like a cheap fairground version..

Still, can't say that about RCT1 and 2's:

Narrow channels.

Both rapids rides only had 3 special pieces. whirlpool/rapids/waterfall for the standard and a rock arch, rock debris and waterfall features for the soaked one.

You forgot the White Water Rapids, with the stone columns, with ivy all over it.

I don't remember the nicer one having the whirlpool, but I do remember a rectangler piece sticking out, but only from one side, not on the other side or both. Also it would be very nice to be able flip the arches, and other pieces too. [yesnod]

I think it would be cool if we could shape the land/mountain the way we want and fill it with water and make that the raft ride. Like the land you mold around it would be the flume. And for the lift hills and whirlpool effects we can have the option to put it in the places we need it.

Seeing the real photos made me think again about how complicated a pretty water dynamics can be so I see why they would want to work long time on it to get pretty result.

I am confident they are going to put in water rides.

Without a log flume its not a real theme park to me ;D But Im sure they will put it in eventually. I really trust Frontier.

Water rides have already been confirmed to be in the game at initial release. No need to worry [up]

Yep, in only a few days the Q&A with Sam Denney will move to the public part of the forum, and that Q&A includes a nice hint to water rides. [up]

For me at least, the round boat style white water rapids rides are a must. I admit thinking about the details of getting them to work and look like Grizzly Rapids from California Adventure are a bit mind boggling for me (I'm sure Frontier devs would agree here), but otherwise they're really easy to theme in a really cool way and they just look absolutely stunning if done right!

Log flumes I'm neutral about, I'm probably just biased because I don't like them much in real life. [blah]

"Log Flume" and "River Rapids" are as classic as "Carousel" and "Big Wheel" for me.

Maybe this or this park do not have one of these ride in real life, but it remains a classic anyway.

Have patience guys, Frontier are working on Water Rides and water effects as a special feature and will not be absent from the final game. We might get a log flume in the Early Release, or shortly after, but don't expect any of the white water rapid rides until later. Same with some of the Coasters, I don't think we will get the Wooden Coaster for Early Release, as Sam stated that they are still working on this one and we could expect some very nice features when its completed.

hahaa... seeing ingame that guests are moving from one car to an other or that cars can change positions. Nice xD

OW yes! This ride is amazing! It is not the best rabbit's but it is amazing! [squeeeeee][up]
