Multiple Stations on a coaster

A lot of times I make coasters with load and unload separate, not being able to is somewhat of a drawback to me. I also enjoy movies racing coasters and such but then you can't sync the two stations. I really think this should be possible.

+1. This have been requested before. But still haven't got any response from the devs.

Also more effecient load/unload procedure on the platforms I want to request. As even if the unload guest walks on the other side of the tracks side leaving the platform, the guest waiting for getting on the train have to wait were the last one leaving. So unefficient!

Yes, for realism and creativity this should be added. But apparantly "the engine" won`t allow it.
I said it several times (or more likely I thought it to myself): The game is in dire need of some tender love and care for its whole COASTER aspect!

It´sadly stil lacking so many common coaster-types and it totally misses the current trend of special track pieces (like dropping track and track switches).

I agree on the coaster part Tricktrack. We're missing a lot of common rides you see in parks today. Where's Schwarzkopf? Mack? Intamin blitz? A regular wild mouse coaster? I tend to think they focus more on the scenery side of things while the word 'coaster' is literally in the games title. I'd like them to add continues roll for quite some time now, since any kind of roll is still really choppy and waaay to difficult to make it some kind of smooth. Even rct3 has smoother rolls than that.

But that's obvious for quite some time. But don't expect a change, because it apparently works. People buy these mostly scenery based dlcs, so they have no reason to focus on something else. Another thing are streams, which are from 90% focused on workshop creations.

I'm very sad we only have 2 transport rides (the train and the monorail) and we can't add more stations to other track rides and coasters. I think this is because this game is very taxing on the CPU already making all the guest decisions. Guests use transport rides to get somewhere faster. And this takes alot of cpu calculations. So if the guests calculate this with every coaster or transport ride, the performance would become even worse.

Correct me if i'm wrong but I think this could be the only reason why they've chosen not to give us the ability for multiple stations like we could in rct1, 2 and 3.

I still hope for chairlifts though. They SHOULD be in the game and obviously these will have multiple stations.

If I'm not wrong, but there are more than two transport ride! :)

^ Yep, there's the bus and the boat transport rides too.

I just would like to transport guests up steep inclines, I don't care how (elevators or chairlifts or coaster-transport). Currently if we need to get peeps up a steep mountain or top of a building, we're out of luck, they will need to walk. Or you'll need a long winding road, or train track, or monorail - the max angle of track is very low so it will be a very inefficient long way to the top.

Chairlift would solve this, but as someone else mentioned, a chairlift is continuously operating. It doesn't stop to allow guests to board. This may be technically a problem to introduce. Who knows.

I'd like to see transport elevators too. I thought we'd have them by now, but sadly not. Elevators are fun! I wonder what the internal discussion is around elevators. Surely it must have come up, since they were in RCT and also requested many times.

The single cars of the RCT3-Chairlift did stop for passengers. So it should be possible. Capacity would be a nightmare, though.

Oh, but this is part of some DLC right?

Maybe they are DLC only also because of the performance reasons so it doesn't affect most people and most parks.

I'm still curious as to why not every ride can be a transport ride, like in the good old days.

Seems to me the boarding could be synced with the passing cart. They just run as soon as the gate opens and get in on the exact same position of the cart.

Multiple stations on a coaster seems like a good idea to me. I've been on coasters with an unloading and a loading station.

It would add more options for customisation for the players. :)

The engine won't allow it? That is a very awkward thing for the engine to not allow, its pretty much like adding two break segments :/
Though considering how irrational the rating system sometimes is, it may be due to it dropping excitement to 0 or something for a loading and unloading station

Well, I certainly remember this argument was brought up in these forums several times. Be it the set heights for towers, things coaster can, and especially can´t do.

It´s so frustrating: The game looks so good and there are so many great things in it, but as soon as you are looking deeper into the functions of coasters and dark-rides, you notice how half-baked and lazy some things are in the end.

And it will stay half-baked. Only chance to make things better is to really demand it from developers. Although, not possible, because this community is resignated and very passive. Very often, you can read here "oh, that would be awesome, but sadly it´s not in the game" or "well, use your imagination". Not sure why is everyone so "soft" with developers. Don´t be, they don´t rly need that. They need to be pushed more, for our own good and for the good of developers too. There will be progress only where is some pressure for it. Here is none. And if someone tries to be a bit more pushy, others slash him almost instantly.

Take a graphics change of RCTW as a good lesson how to push developers to try something ;). It happened, because community bscly united and was very loud about it.

I think that the load/unload would be helpful for capacity and cutting down the dead time that brings down excitement ratings. That way you could make better use of three or four train operation and not really have to worry about stacking. I think in real life though, multiple stations is getting out of favor. I think its mostly just a feature to work into theming (giving people the impression that they traveled somewhere or that they're the first people to step into the train)). In reality, I don't think that it helps with capacity that much, and people in real life don't mind the stacking as much as people do in PC. I also think that the dual load stations has caught on more than separate stations for unthemed outdoor coasters.

I guess in PC, just try to get better about your MCBR sections, and don't bother going over three train ops. If you really can't avoid stacking, go down to two train ops.
